Dblf,
I didn't see the first picture that you posted but i did see the second one. I wasn't clear on who it was/is, was it a picture of you or your Mother, either way it was a picture of a beautiful woman.
Ron, that picture that you posted of yourself had to be one of you when you were just a little squirt.
Bear,
Nice picture.
Maggie,
Nice picture too. Do you still wear the hat?
Bunni,
That's scarey and i'd be afraid.....very afraid, to not bring back a book on time to your library.

Linda, it is sooo useless to get into it with these juvenile delinquents.
First of all, maggie cannot compete in a medium where looks do not matter and intelligence does, but still she tries to bring up looks anyway, never knowing what anybody 'looks like' and she pulled a way bad gamble on this one.
Besides all her previous pictures (that she took down real real fast) had some green/yellow slime all over them. (Or is that her the color of her skin?) But she, and her betty davis eyes, Miss lipless wonder over here that she is, has to post a picture of herself at 19 to try to put forward her love me love I'm wonderful game for the guys. It's not lost on at least one man here, the profes. I agree with him, and laugh how she thinks were all so stupid; then she goes off on a rampage!!
But this pretty much says it all:
..And I will not say that people are good looking when they are not..
ROFL!!! OMG! How insecure can one person be???
Thanks for the compliment Linda, but I know my mother was blessed with beauty - everyone who ever saw her thought so. (Did you know when she died in her seventies she still had that snow-white-like skin with very few wrinkles?? It was pretty amazing she did considering how she had very little in the way of beauty regimes; but several people noted about it at the funeral.)
The fact that maggie and helen are obsessing over some shadows in the photo and thats all they see, lets me know how totally off base all their opinions are!! When your eyes view is guided by miserly jealously, one can only surmise their real life view on everything is equally tainted. (shudder)!!
Cute photos bear! Did they call you bear in High School? You look like a kid that would be called bear by his friends.........

Well, thanks Pi, that is very classy of you to say so. That was my mother. People tell me I am the spitting image of her. ::Shrug:: I dont think I am quite so blessed with the nice skin as I have inherited my fathers skin pigmentation, but I've got his sharp as a tack eyes that could burn through ya to make up for it. Matter of fact, I have to wear shades most of the time so I dont hurt people...lol!!

Pi! Great pic! Did you happen to live in WA state back then? God I know, or rather knew someone that looks exactly like you!

NTS, i'm glad you like my pic. I was living in Santa Fe, NM then as now and yes i've heard of the Ghostriders.
People tell me all the time that i look familiar, like someone they know but i've never been to WA.

NM is nice! I was there about 23 years ago!
I went to HS with a guy named Rick, who became a member of the Ghostriders, and I went to a few of their WILD parties back then. Rick had a twin, his name was Rich (now how original can a parent get? naming their twins Rick and Rich? LOL!!)
They always parked their bikes right in the middle of their living room. Heard that a lot of hard core bikers do that

Piinthesky, why do I have a hard time believing that is really you?! And About 25 years ago?? For some reason, I thought you just crossed 25 or somewhere not far from that, not too long ago?
In any case, since you got that gun, I think I'll be nice{r} to you from now on. lol!!
NTS, I bet bear got so many teddy bears from his girlfriends over the years. (oh, now I'm thinking of the Elvis Teddy Bear Song!! )

Dblf, what does that mean, makes no sense to me for some reason and yes that really is me but you don't have to worry about me and my gun. I won't come after you as long as you vote Republican in the mid-terms. LOL

Nts, it's true we do park our bikes in the living room or elsewhere in the house also. I have 2 old pics of my bike in my living room and in my kitchen. I'll see if i can find them for you and i'll post 'em.
ed to say; Whoops, it looks like i was posting as you were correcting, Dblf.

Maggie, it's kinda funny that you mention me looking like Bocephus because there was a guy that rode with us that really did look like him and he even wore a cowboy hat and so we allways called him Bocephus.
Nts, i'm fessin up, i'm in my late 40's but i still feel young and hardy to party.

Dbl, didn't get the "Bear" nickname til years later when I an old man I was working with blessed me with it. Guess it helped to have a full beard (that was all red at the time). Still have the beard but lost all the red years ago.
I gave my liberal neighbors son a book for his birthday. He went crazy trying to find where to put the batteries.

Here you go, Nts. I couldn't find the pic of my bike in the living room but here's one of it in the kitchen. My landlord at the time didn't even mind that we parked our bikes inside. I remember asking him if it was ok to do and he said You boys can do whatever you want with the place as long as you don't destroy it and so we respected him on it. I think he really liked having us around because we took care of the place and looked out for and protected everyone in the neighborhood.

Yeah well, i don't wanna marry you either, Maggie but being as i am or was a biker type, just remember this, i'm the person that your mother warned you about or least wise i was. LOL
You've heard of the Hells Angels MC, haven't you?? The vision that you probably have of them is probably of what you've seen in pictures, on the news or in movies of a bunch of greasy bikers but i'll tell you what, the H A's of today do wear 3 piece suits and they blend in with society quite well.
As far as communicating with me goes, i see no reason why what i really look like should make a difference.
I do have another pic of me that shows what i looked like about 18 to 20 years ago after i cleaned up my act, shaved the beard, etc. I don't know if i should post it though because all you ladies in here would probably fall off your chairs and your jaws would drop open seeing it.
posted on October 13, 2005 09:26:38 PM new Bear you do have a really cute teddy bear face in your HS picture. If I was your girlfriend I woulda given ya lots of cute teddybears for every different occassion!

LOL! Pi that looks like Ricks house!
The landlord said you took care of the place, but did he know about the kitchen floor? LOL!
Yeah, I know about the Hells Angels, its the same as what I do know about the Ghost Riders. In their club they had a GENUINE MD, yep, and that was in the 70's. Never would guess he was a doctor either when he was in leather, but we saw him at the hospital, and that blew us away. The biker clubs attracts a lot of different types, and they are not all druggie types at all.
(but I do know they like to party every now and then! )

Maggie, you know you are loving every minute of the attention....
Otherwise you wouldn't have posted your "antique" photo... I gave my liberal neighbors son a book for his birthday. He went crazy trying to find where to put the batteries.
