It's not showing off KD...god has given those of us with the wherewithall the lifelong burden of lifting the lint of ignorance from your eyes. It's a full time job.

piinthesky - "Hey Sweethearts, you ain't seen nothin yet."

Yea, yea, promises, promises.

"Aww come on now you enjoy it - admit it, i add some spice to this otherwise bleak and bleary board."

I NEVER admit anything....my motto has ALWAYS been, "Admit nothing, deny everything"...
[kidding for those without a sense of humor]

But in your case alone I will admit it....yes, you DO add some spice to his board.

Thank you profe for that chart. So yes, I WAS seeing a full moon at the beginning of this week, as was bear. And on Thursday night...it was still so full as to appear from all these miles away to be a full moon.

Once again the 'righties' shows the 'lefties' how they view most things, even the moon....is a tad off. Except, that is, those whose job it is to lift the lint from their eyes. hehehe

I'm waning to wax the other

So that wasn't a coyote I heard howling a minute ago. It was Maggie moving on to the bikini wax.

Bear Creek is at I-10 & Hwy 6.

In the early 80's I was in Hobby airport area, mid 80's, the Humble area & late 80's, the Aldine area. In the early 90's was in the Hwy 249 / 1960 area. Then moved to Willis (N of Conroe) in "93 and last of all to New Waverly in "97.

So we were close at one time.

I do know the area. Not to refute your memories but the photo was taken heading South on I-45/Hwy 75 in the center of Houston about 1 1/2 south of I-10.

The same basic sign is still there.

Classic, you must have had the map turned side ways. This was before the 610 loop was open around town, so you did find your way out of town.

Maggie, I feel the same about where I am now. There is a cemetery up the road from me where my grandmother (my mothers mother) and great grandparents are burried. When we bought this place I didn't know they were there.

Also found out that my grandfather was born and raised in this same area so its like I've finally come home.

That might be true if the well was in the cemetary.

A while back shortly before dark I was driving in and noticed something funny at the cemetery. There was smoke rising from the ground close to a newly dug grave.

I thought to my self "someone didn't go willingly" or "someone went so fast they left a smoke trail".

Only when I go closer did I see it was a tree stump smoldering.

I started to, until I got close enough to see the cause of the smoke..
