Terri, on the comment you edited out: It's for the best you stopped. It takes a lot of practice and experience to learn how to see without being seen, so you can inadvertently create a conduit right back to yourself, which can have unexpected consequences. It's also an abuse of power (whose power is something you might think on a bit) to invade the privacy of others', simply because you can. Being able to do something doesn't justify doing it. See responsibly.

I believe in psychics but I don't believe in impersonating one...

LOL, mybiddness. I'll take your word for it. I was trying to square the embrace of the heretical (read: PAGAN) with all the biblically "inspired" tirades of her past posts here. I do think she tried to do the espy thing, though. Hope for her sake she leaves off fooling with Parent Natural amore. There are some people who, in trying to elicit information from others, wind up revealing a whole lot more about themselves than they ever realize.
Love it when you wax eloquent, krs. It's not bull, but now we know what you don't. Since we're on the topic of the ambition of amateurs and dangers thereof, you going to try your hand at anything in shyenne's link?

chanty, how many fan clubs are you running? I count krs, artdoggy, and now terri. Do you have a website? I'd love to visit!

Cheyenne Roundup, so glad you're here. Ms Artdoggy is pining away for you on the other thread she wants to lick powdered sugar off your face inbetween sipping cafe aulait.
The audience awaits the fateful meeting.

Do I have a website? Do I have a website? Chanty, what would I need with "a" website, when I have millions of them? Yes, you read that correctly, millions. I'm one of the major shareholders in ION, "I Own the Net. It's a fascinating concept in revenue realization, built not on cash but on the only truly finite commodity, TIME. I can't upload the algorithms here, but maybe I can explain it. The business is based on the concept that the Net is a multi-reality time-based experience. You're here, spending time. Whether or not you're actively posting or reading, you're spending it. Even with no page hits, no live purchases, no acquisition of intellectual property--you're spending it. Well, ION collects it. It's that simple. At the end of the night, your clock has run down and our coffers are full. The beauty of our business is that it's absolutely virtual, and cannot be regulated. We've partnered at several points in the hardware/connection web matrix, and end users can neither detect nor thwart our collection processes. Site owners are only too happy that ION exists, since excess user time drains their resources. As cybersalvage operations go, we're the biggest and the best.
At this point, we're operating in first-stage mode and putting all our capital back into building and improving the infrastructure. We're planning our consumer rollout for the end of the first quarter, 2001. You'll be happy to know that, once our website is open, you'll be able to buy back some of your time from us, at rates we're sure you'll find reasonable.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share this with you, chanty. Remember: I'm here on your time, and I appreciate it!

Shy, we both know I could never compete with artdoggy. She's in a class by herself--and kel, whose tale yesterday had me in stitches. I don't tell stories, Shyness, I amuse myself with notions. Very different.
BTW, we agree on krs and doggy. On the T, though, you are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.

You're cute, Shyness. You and doggy make a delightful couple. Now go back to that other thread and do the sugar thing.
