I saw this coming early on (and hoped I was wrong) so I stepped back. I missed the threads last night but after reading what they were about - I am disgusted! I was on Mauis thread and it was a sincere invite to vacation and visit together. I would love to have someone like maui visit or vacation with her. Life is too short
for all of this stuff. There is so much we can discuss and so much we can share - do we really need to tear each other up for our entertainment?

Whoever all these new ids are - I hope they think about how they are getting their kicks.
I consider myself a pretty fair and fun loving person but when I see folks like Maui and Kel hurt then I am not amused.
If these ids are so worried about folks guessing their ids and being exposed - then WHY play these games to begin with. There are better ways to get your entertainment.

WinterPear! Do I sense a new creation coming on? The other one (first in a series, I'm sure) was awfully good. I was quite pleased, and it changed my assessment of your abilities. You're a natural, you just need focus and self discipline.

Artdoggy I have to disagree with this . Even on my worst best day on this board, I have NEVER asked anyone about their businesses on the auctions,

One of the first things you said to me was about my thin me page and the fact that I had no auctions running.

I also have to say again that you gave out enough information for anyone to find your items for sale (nice stuff by the way)

If anyone harasses you in email do like the others say and get with their ISP. The likelyhood of people here bidding on your auctions is far greater than any possibility anyone here would hurt your auctions in any way.

I've always been visible here and have NEVER had anyone mess with my auctions. I've had some bid on them tho!

Feel free to look at my auctions everyone!

I had a friend that had several tatoos and when he went to get them removed he was left with these huge keloid masses. The tatoos were better than what he wound up with. The last time I saw him - he was going through all these plastic surgeries and all that happened was more keloids. Just couldn't get rid of them ... he should have just lived with the not so pretty tatoos I guess.

Nobs,

Something like this happens every month. I'd think that you'd be used to it by now.

I'm used to it but that doesn't mean it don't irk me at times. I think it's my old age coming on or something.
I am still mellow - just get a tad miffed now and then ... it passes or I step off and let the real pros handle this board stuff.
And I go bake brownies

Nobs,

It's a real problem for some people, and further surgery usually makes it worse. If you're still in touch with the guy, tell him to try massage, with Vitamin E oil. The idea is to ply the scar tissue, holding it between two fingers and kneading it, as if softening it and breaking it down. It can be very painful, depending on where it's located, but I've seen hard reddened lumps (scars, not fresh wounds) reduced, flattened, and the color change to blend in better with the surrounding tissue. Takes months, not days or even weeks, but it can work. I don't think it can cause any harm, anyway. This is something I'd recommend he do to himself, since no one else will know how much it might hurt to "work" the tissue.

That's my keloid advice for the day.

My pleasure, enchanted. I know I am right, and my prediction that these little guessing games will become outlawed is also correct. Enjoy your picnic.

The rules of this site say that discussing the poster is a violation. Guessing the identity of a poster is a pure violation of this rule. It is quickly becoming tiresome.

Not only do I wish you the best of luck - I will keep all my fingers and my toes crossed!
I just hate this weather - more thunderstorms this afternoon blowing through! It keeps setting off the alarm on Mr. Nobs van. I am gonna shut down for a few minutes - it's fast moving!

I don't have his phone or email but I will send him a snail mail and tell him. It is mostly on his upper arms and fore arms. I'm due to get in touch with him soon anyhow and now I have a good reason. Believe it or not - we roomed together in the early 70s when I was doing the college thing. I think it may have something to do with his being fair skinned (he has red hair and blue eyes and is very fair). It's a shame and he really feels bad about it - lives in long sleeved shirts.
Thanks a bunch!

Z...I dont think Im as sensitive as I used to be, lol. I like to hope so, anyway.

To be fair, I did post a thread in response to artdoggy's about my Ireland thread....something about a looney bin called Bark At the Moon for folks who Howl(I cut and pasted what she said about me, but changed a few words). Then, she did the one after that about bedsheets, so I did a tit for tat (thats for KRS, lol) and did one about earmuffs from panties with the same cut and paste, but changing the words again to fit. When she posted about the Elves one, I stopped and had to laugh. However, I did email Michelle and told her I was sorry for doing it..and asked her to womb my threads too, which she did. I had no right to add fuel to the fire, although at first I was miffed at first about the Ireland slam because I didnt see it coming and didnt understand WHY she chose my thread to "play" with. In short...I wasnt any better, although I never did bring up her sales or business name or feedback, as she did mine. What I want to bring to her attention is, she is hollering about being upset and demanding we quiver and shake with fear from what she herself has done to others, in the guise of "a laugh".

K...Im done now with this whole thing. Like Spaz and others said "its not funny anymore".

KatyD...NOW I have the song Pareau suggested..."we are the champions...of the worrrrrrld"

Ah yes, Maui and Pareau, Queen...and Freddie Mercury! Such a talent taken before his time! So..."We Are The Champions" dedicated to "those who have left us, but will yet return". RIP

We Are The Champions (Queen)
I've paid my dues -
Time after time -
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime -
And bad mistakes
I've made a few
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face -
But I've come through

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting - till the end -
We are the champions -
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions - of the world -

I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls -
You brought me fame and fortune and everything that goes with it

I thank you all -

But it's been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race
And I ain't gonna lose

We are the champions my friends
And we'll keep on fighting till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions - of the world

Can you believe what Mountain Dew has done to Bohemian Rhapsody???

*phooey*

(My first kiss was kissed with Bohemian Rhapsody in the background played to enhance the growth of plants for a science fair project done by the fella that later *sigh* dumped my tender 13 year old self because I bested him in that same science fair. More than you wanted to know, eh? )

EDITED to remove an errant "project" and because I forgot to flirt with Spaz-who-ignores-me-so-well.

One of the first things I sold on ebay was an etling opalescent vase. It was puffed out roses kind of like pairpoint. I've not seen another like it since on ebay or anywhere else.

Coming into this thread cold after a few days off, I would have to go with David Lynch. Feel like I'm watching an episode of Twin Peaks after he got bored with it.
