What is a charge back? Don't mean to sound stupid, but we paid by PayPal, yes, but we used a withdrawl off our bank account instead of a credit card. (maybe we are stupid!!). As for starting to recoup our money, we have tried Ebay (can only get $175.00 if and when they ever pay) PayPal tells us that we are out of luck basically. We did email them after we called them. They told us to email an explanation as to what has happened and send it to: [email protected] and we did. What more can we do?

Classic--
Yes, I'm sorry, but as I stated below I had posted my comments before I saw your post about your payment being thru a bank transfer. A chargeback would be available only thru a credit card transaction.
As for other alternatives, I have never had to go thru such a nightmare on ebay so I can only wish you the best of luck, and hopefully others who have had to go thru such an unfortunate experience can give you some help. What a shame this is! I'm sorry I could not be of more help.

We just just received a response from Safeharbor at Ebay. They said they were going to start trying to verify the contact information they have for this seller. It won't help me, but maybe is this seller puts more auctions up it will help those bidders/buyers.

You are right!! And because of this, we will be shutting down our business. We are not a large operation, but we are a viable business. We will shut down on the internet (I need to clarify that). There is no recourse for situations like this one. And any more I, for one, am extremely paranoid of even selling much less buying.
