Okay where's the hook.. get the bimbo acting blond out of the building. Looks like Kellie has decided to play up the dumb blond act to get votes.. ha it backfired on her tonight.. Nothing worse than a blond playing a dumb blond.

Not on here yet Missy - don't blow it for me yet
While I am waiting... anyone ever though about the show 24 and just how freaky bad the security and background on the agents of the nations top security agency is in that show?
Two rogue agents in one season
A boss who think that the day of a nuclear scare will make agreat day for "Bring your BiPolar daughter to work day.
Jack decides to employ his "could not make a good decision if her life depends on it anfd many times it has" daughter who leaves for a year and when she drops in doesn't remember the name of the guy that trained her.
How many suspects have been killed or nearly killed by pissed off family members in the facility?
Bomb set off in facility
Nerve gas set off in bulding.
And although I completely understand why the Head Secret Service agent is still in place, could someone please tell me why the Chief of staff of the first President is also the chief of staff of his "I have no balls or opion of my own, could someone please lend me theirs" successor?
And why is it hthat no one in that entire facilty ever has access to the info that they are supposed to be working with and needs someone else to "open up a socket to it"?
The only redeaming factor of this season is Jean Smart.

Writing as I watch....
Ace - Finally a guy on this show that can dance and not make you cringe. Vocals.. not bad. Thinking he won't be the best of the night but definately not the worst.
Kelly - What a twit. Great example of how diplomatic Stevie Wonder can be. Horrible performance. No personality. (Notice the crowd didn't even disagree with Simon when he said it was bad) Please god make her shut up!!!!!!!!
Elliott - Beautifull voice on but not a great song choice. He's got the voice to do some of Stevie's more dynamic songs. Wish he would have gone for it.
Mandisa - Kind of a rough start (maybe she needed the shoes) but damn she worked it out!!
Bucky - at the stylist transformation begins There we go! I knew he could find a good song and make it work.
Melissa - How do you screw up lyrics while you are reading them? Yuk - muddy. Needs an ennunciation clinic.
So far - Melissa is the worst... but ... I've already forgotten Aces performance which is not a good sign...

Okay, I'm with you so far.. but I won't comment on the rest until it is over for you.
I think Ace would be better modeling or acting with his good looks.. don't care for his vocals all that much.

Lisa - No dynamics. Not a greaat song for a singing competition but surely she could have kicked it the butt in a few places.
Kevin - Third place in a high school talent contest. Ick. Does this little idiot realize that he's not a sex symbol. He's the newest sympathy vote?
Katharine - Really nice. Not fantastic but that was one of the best so far.
Taylor - Was there any doubt he would shine doing Stevie? Too bad the background singers were mixed louder than him.
Paris - As much as I wish she would do "younger" songs, I'm amazed at the maturity of her performances. The girl can sing.
Chris - Nice mix between Stevie and RHCP - I was wondering who would do this song. Good song to end the show with.
Overall:
Chris and Bucky were the only ones that managed to give it a little of their own flavor which they needed to since they have the least compatible voices to his songs.
Kevin was the worst but I feer that it may be Melissa that goes since VoteForTheWorst.com has taken up Kevin as their poster boy. (they are the ones responsible for at least the four weeks of us enduring Scott Savoi last year.)

Oh.. You've got to be kidding!!! If they keep the little spud in they're just screwing up the entire competition. I'd forgotten all about them
My favorite is Chis and what can I say I love Taylor. You know they suggested he dye his hair blond streaks.. at first I thought, no way, his gray hair is part of his personality, but thinking about it, it might not be a bad idea. He would appeal to the younger ones more with a more youthful look.

Stevie Wonder isn't a favorite of mine but I kind of enjoyed hearing his songs done by all of them.
Kevin - Does this little idiot realize that he's not a sex symbol.
Fenix, he seems to think he's really hot now. The whole time he was singing 'Part Time Lover' it cracked me up like he knew all about that?
Him and Melissa should be next to go I think. I agree Kelly is a twit...... she has nothing much that's going to last long and they already had a country winner last time.
Taylor........ can't help but like him as he's so real and he's always fun to watch. He has a CD out already.
There was way too much makeup on the girls......... oh ya, on Kevin too....... hahahaha

Kiara - with all of the success Carrie is having (Album is nearly triple platinum, 3 CMA nominations and a summer tour with Chesney) and the fact that AI gets a cut of it all, I would not be shocked to see them go for another country performer. Kind of why it surprises me that they are not pimping Bucky a bit harder than they are. Simon went on about Chris "original" adaptation but said nothing about Bucky having done the same thing, opting to instead comment on his hair.
As for Kevin - thats the second time he's done one of those type songs - it kinda creeps me out.

Fenix-what happened on "24" believe it not I set my Tivo to record something that overlapped with "24",so I missed it DOH!
BTW-I keep looking at the president-something very familar about him.One of the episodes I think Im going to hear him shout.....I am not crook!
Also I have my Tivo set for a "season pass" for "CSI Las Vegas" so I am watching past shows right now. The head of securtiy (the red headed dude)on "24" is also the sheriff in "CSI Las Vegas" They are both minor parts, but imagine having your puss on the two biggest shows on TV today?
maggie-if you never watched it,the best thing to do is get season copies on Ebay. The first time I watched it was last year(season four)
I liked it some much,I bought the first 3 seasons from someone on Ebay.It was around $80.00 for the 3 seasons, but you get 24 episodes on 6 or 7 dvds for each season,so its not that expensive. If you email me,and give me your address,I will mail you season one,and when your done with it,mail it back to me,and I will mail you season two etc. That way you wont have to buy it.I did this with my best friend who lives in Richamond,Va and even his 18 yr old daughter got into it.I have to tell you its a very intense series, and one you cant stop watching. When I got the first 3 seasons,I would watch a couple of episodes of season one each day.Season two was even better.I remember one day it was in the middle of season two,I started watching it and couldnt stop.I watched 8 episodes from 8 in the morning to 4pm in the afternoon. So my wife comes home from work and asked "so what do you do all day?(there were dirty dishes in the sink-no laundry done and no shopping done)I said "aahh nothing, I took the day off...I called in sick" LOL

Classic - Here you go...
Chloe has a minor melt down over Edgars death but snapped out of it when Jack about choked out Kims boyfriend/therapist for annoyance above and beyond.
Nerve gas was eating thru seal of the safe rooms so jack had to save the day.. going thru air ducts to shut down a program running on a computer in another room that was stopping Chloe from turning on the AC which somehow would clear everything. OOOPs ... Problem... unreported security upgrade ... steel bars between the breath holding Jack and the the non network connected computer. That's OK... because Len can get to it. After admitting to the security gaurd in his safe room that they are all about to die because he was too embarrassed to tell anyone his sister mugged him they now realize that their death is certain since there will be no way to "flush" the room they are in once Len leaves it to go shut down the computer. CTU loses its... what ..5th leader in 5 years?
Kim tells Jack that as soon as they are cleared to leave, she's gone. Every time she is around him people die.
On the presidential front - the self serving VP is manipulating the "Backbone? Que es Backbone?" president into declaring martial law in Los Angeles without giving any reason as a way of "avoiding" civil unrest... and he, the VP will be writing the speech the president gives declaring it. Mike and Jean Smart are desperately trying to figure out how to get the president to grow a brain and see what is going on around him.
Tony finds out the guy that is responsible for Michele's death is in his sealed off area and since he is now in a coma and can't give anyone any info, tony decides it will be OK to kill him. but...oooops .... he's not in a coma after all. Tony gets stabbed and suspect gets away in now nerve agent free thanks to AC building. Jack comes to Tony's side but as Kim has earlier stated, people die around Jack and Tony is no exception.
Annoying members of other government agency are speeding towards CTU discussing their upcoming duties ... that of taking over the duties of CTU which is now :no longer a working agency, but rather just a building filled with casualties".
Oh yeah... and the Russian is planning his next attack. It will involve one location and the remaining 18 canisters and of course a lingerie wearing seductress to obtain the key.

Classy, you really are too adorable at times, ya know. Linda is one lucky lady. I think I'll pass on 24, it just doesn't seem to be my cup of tea, but thanks anyway.
Well, it looks like that web site is doing it's job and keeping kreepy Kevin in the competition.
Sheesh..

take him up on the offer - it really is a good show. If nothing else, do it to see just what a "bad day" really is. Jacks wife has a BAD day.

On Idol, Kevin was tolerable as the little dweeb underdog at the beginning but last week he had a mean little look on his face so hopefully he lost some of the appeal that make some keep voting for him.
Did anyone watch American Inventor? It's a lot like Idol except with inventions instead of singing. It was a bit sappy with the tears but maybe that appeals to some.

kiara- We did watch part of American Inventor. It was interesting, somewhat. I may catch it again.
Kevin should have gone on Idol. But I felt Melissa was next, so maybe it's only put of for one week. I can't believe he wasn't in the bottom 3 at least. (I think Lisa and Ace were in shock!) I think little Kevie is the only one who hasn't at least improved.
What is the name of Taylor's CD? I would be interested in purchasing it.

Kevin is being supported, like Ms.Fenix said, by www.VoteForTheWorst.com, no telling how long they will keep him in the running. And I saw that look on his face last week and his come- back to Simon. He's beginning to take himself to seriously. Okay voice, but not competition level, imo.
Ace was shocked, and had that deer caught in the headlights look. I'd like to buy Taylor's CD too.
I watched some of the inventors program too, but it didn't grab me. The only strong feeling I had about the show, was how I'd like to hang the little weasel judge guy up by his .... and watch him cry like a little girl. Ugh.. he is slimy.
posted on March 19, 2006 10:42:18 AM
Hi Twig and Bebeboom........ I'll probably watch Inventor again just to see how it goes and then I'll be hooked, right? I don't mind seeing tears with the losers but don't want to see any of the judges make it a routine.

11 left on Idol - who will be the next to go?
Mandisa - Wow - I wonder if there will ever be anything bad to say about her? Such a voice!!
Bucky - Not bad. Lacks command of the stage but the vocals were cool.
Paris - Damn that little girl can sing!
Chris - Interesting arrangement - Personally I like it but I know what the AI boards are saying without looking (He's a one trick pony, he's not showing versatility, everything is the same style).
Katherine - The girls is about as seductive as a fence post. FEEL the damn music you little robot. And what the hell was that note in the middle? Grooveless!!! (Simon is high - but then he seemed to be blind to Carries complete lack of presense as well)
Taylor - High energy performance made up for a boring song. George Clooney meets Phil Donahue... ROFL!!!

Ooops - didn't mean to send yet..
Lisa - All I could think is, where are the dynamics, then I remembered I said the same thing last week. She sings all the right notes but she doesn't ever punch any of them.
Kevin - Blah!
Elliot - I don't know why, but just didn't get into it. Well sung but.....
Kellie - (Barry didn't know Walkin' after Midnight?) I can't stand stand this girl but I have to admit, she was really good. Now if she would just stop talking.
Ace - First half was yuk, second half was really nice but not sure if it was enough.
Bottom three.... Kevin, Lisa and Bucky or Ace.

I still like Chris, but didn't like his rendition tonight. Kellie did a good job, just wish she would quit the stupid act.
Taylor..love him. I think Paris sounds the same week after week.
Ms.Fenix, yes, I watched Big Love and think I will watch it again.
Did anyone watch the Flavor Flav series? He cracks me up!

I didn't like Taylor tonight...... he seemed kind of amateur to me and his little dance looked silly and a few times he looked like he had to pee really bad.
Kellie did really well but I can't stand her when she's not singing. I think she should get it on with Kevin and loosen him up a bit.
No sincere feelings coming from Katherine....... almost too perfect and controlled like she can't cut loose. Paris has a good voice but is way too young for the songs she sings. Somehow I can't even begin to think she knows anything about a 'fever'.
Elliot sang okay but it didn't do anything for me either. Bucky did better last week and sounded the worst to me tonight....... kind of flat. Ace did better tonight but I don't care for his high voice.
Lisa was just okay and so was Chris. My favorite by far tonight was Mandisa and she seemed the most real.
posted on March 21, 2006 10:49:38 PM
Kiara - I could have gone my entire life without a visual of Kevin having sex......
The only reason I dont think that Bucky was the worst tonight was that even when he doesn't quite get things right, his performances have so much more personality than Lisa or Kevins do.
I was checking out the AI boards and discovered that Chris rendition of Walk the Line was not a Chris arrangement as we were led to believe but rather a cover of Live's rearrangement.
I wonder if Simon is rethinking his prediction of the final 3. I think he missed the boat on that one. I don't see how you can do the final 3 and not include Mandisa.
