I have to close my eyes and just listen to him (Elliot). I noticed Mark did it this week too.
I was pleased to see Ace and Katharine there in the bottom three as well. I do think she was shocked to be there. (That made me happy...I'm such a b*tch!)
I saw somewhere Paula signed a new contract for another year. I'm tired of her babbling. I'm also tired of hearing "Dawg". (It's no longer cool, find something else to call people. Personally, most of the women I know would be offended.)

I felt the exact same way about Katherine being in the bottom. I was glad to see it. Did you see Bucky's face when they said it was Katherine and not him in the bottom three? Talk about shock and relief!

I did see how Simon reacted to Paula's remark about wanting Ace to tell her all about how he got his scar. Simon just about had a cow. It was obvious what he was thinking... not another sex scandal with a contestant to smooth over...lol lol lol

Taylor....... flat and dull
Mandisa....... she can sing and I liked her best tonight.
Elliot...... okay. While he was singing I was wondering what kind of make-over would work..... maybe long hair? Full 'stache to cover his thin upper lip? Some dental work? Hmmmm........
Paris........ she did good but I HATE that song......... how do I ever surviiiiiiiiiiiiiiive......... it was overplayed on the radio until I truly HATE it, plus it's a victim song.
Ace....... one trick pony
Kellie......... nothing special
Chris..... Simon was right when he said it was a boring song
Katherine...... all act with no feeling and NO Elvis in her at all
Bucky...... I thought he had the best chance tonight. What a disappointment!
Most of the time I find myself agreeing with Simon.
BTW, Kenny Rogers has wrecked his face and looks terrible ........... he was aging with character and looked great so why would he be so stupid?
I'll repeat it. They all sucked.

I was not really disappointed but I guess that was because I didn't expect it to be a vey good show. I can't believe they even picked country as a theme. I hate to say it but I think Bucky might be the one that leaves this week. Why have these people notfigured out that you need to pick a dong that reaches out and grabs someone by the throat and does notlet go. Enough with the freakin ballads already.
Now that I have said that, I actually really liked Chris's song, and Mandisa did really well.
Bucky just picked a bad song, he didn't perform badly, it was just a bad song.
Elliot is soulless. He has a promising future in Vegas lounges.
Paris - I hate that song too. And the more I watch her the more I think she belongs on a Broadway stage but not a concert stage.
Taylor was way disappointing. I like that song for when I was a kid and it's a hard song to sing but then he didn't even go for the actual hard notes and he put no personality in it.
Katherine reminds me of a virgin sex kitten. It's like she memorized all the sexy moves and is trying to remember the choreography but has nothing to put behind them.
Ace - I can't even watch him anymore. I don't listen to him either. It's like... same song, different lyrics. And Simon says that Chris was getting redundant?
Maybe it will be Ace this week. I hope so.

I thought classic would jump all over that one! 
I, too, was not impressed with last night's performances....with anyone's performance. Usually, by this stage of the competition, there are at least half doing really well.
This is the first season I have not yet voted.

BTW - Mandisa? They voted Mandisa out? The girl had the best voice and the best personality of anyone there. Last night was ridiculous.

I recently saw a pic of Burt Reynolds-it was obvious he had plastic surgery.It was horrible,his face looked like plastic.

It looked like he had fat pumped into his cheeks or something.. didn't even look like himself! Why can't people just grow old gracefully.
I know it was a shocker about Mandisa, I don't have a clue who will win, do you? My favorite as I have said over and over is Taylor, but I think Chris meets the whole package better.
I don't like Paris, Kellie, Katherine, or Ace.
Some of the old timer stars who have repeated plastic surgery look like aliens.

I was reading different sites last night and there were a number of possible reasons for why Mandisa was booted ranging from the fact that her fan base was assured she was one of the best so they didn't vote, or that she wasn't her best the last couple of weeks because of her song choices, that she talked about her religion too much or that she was too fat and people vote for looks as well as talent. Personally I thought she was one of the most talented and had the most personality so I was surprised.
Next week they have to put some life back into the show!
Many of the critics say that Kenny Rogers looks like a Kenny Rogers impersonator now........ it's difficult to even watch him now because he looks like he has a mask on.

Last night I happened to find phillyBlurbs.com so was reading about Idol there and this is what the guy said about Paris.
With each week, Paris Bennett is looking more like a bizarre hybrid of Gary Coleman and Tootie from 'The Facts of Life' with a little bit of Tattoo from Fantasy Island thrown in for good measure.
Actually this guy is a cruel critic but kind of funny.

I think the assumption that she already had the votes was probably the right one.
I don't the God thing was it. Last week was a great song that transended the Contemporary Chrisitan market on a pretty wide scale and although we saw more "god talk" last night, it was in the replay of what happened weeks ago and in her farewell speech. It was not part of her week to week chatter.
I think weight could have had something to do with it, and if so, it was not helped by that outfit Tuesday. That just did not work on her. She looked great last night but the Tuesday night top was ugly and did nothing for her.
(BTW - I wouldn't be surprised to see her with a plus size clothing deal before we see a record contract.)
Kiara - tell me honestly - can you picture Paris singing Queen?
I think Bucky and Chris are going to shine next week. they are the only ones that have the voice and the personality to really pull off Queen but I will vote for Kellie is she does "Airhead"

Mandisa looked good during the 50's night and even Simon thought she was sexy but that top she was wearing on Tuesday was kind of scary. A few weeks ago Katherine wore an even uglier dress. Do they purchase their own clothes or does the show help them pay for their wardrobe?
I'm looking forward to them doing Queen but not sure what Paris can do ......... maybe Crazy Little Thing Called Love? It may suit her age but won't showcase her real talent.
Ace can sing Another One Bites the Dust or Under Pressure........ hahahaha
Queen will hopefully add some life to the show.

They get a spipend towards clothee but they select their look. Apparently Kellie has been the nightmare. There was an article yesterday about it that said that ever since that first show with the top 12 when Simon said she looked like Dolly Parton and Kellie has been a bit of a pain.

Bucky rocked it. That's the whiskey voice I fell for at the beginning.
Ace - should be shot for that performance
Kelly - Annoying - and for gods sake, someone stop telling her to stop pointing at the damn camera whenever she says the word "you". (If she is really THAT stupid..huh, on paper?... she's going to be ewaten alive by the music industry)
Chris - didn't like the song (kept waiting for it to go somewhere and it never got there.) but nice performance.
Katherine - (prepared to hate this)... 30 seconds..fast forwarding...pain...ack...ew.. HEINOUS!!!
Elliott - Damn - Great powerful song and all I can think is... Yep... great future as a lounge singer. Boy has no soul.
Taylor - Now that was an obvious song choice. Very nicely done.
Paris - Well Damn! I just didn't expect her to pull off Queen. Well done.
Overall - I think that Bucky, Taylor, I guess Chris are my top three.
Bottom three - Katherine, Elliot, Kelly are my bottom three.
OK - first I said I thought Katherine was leaving but I ammend that... I just listened, and not watched Aces performance again... that was REALLY heinous

Ace........ well, if you turn it up loud enough does it matter who sings that song? 
Kellie.... I agree with Fenix and find her annoying but Simon seems to find her engaging.
Chris was good but I didn't like the song either. Paula was so excited she looked all shiny and sweaty....... hahahaha
Katherine always sounds the same to me no matter what she sings......... yawn.
Elliot was good but I still don't care to watch him because he boings up and down too much.
Taylor wasn't all that special tonight so I agreed with Simon. It seemed like a repeat performance that he did on a previous episode.
Paris was good and also weird like Simon said........ like she was trying to be Janet Jackson or something.
Tomorrow night I'd like to see Katherine get booted because she's the most predictable and the most boring to me.

Bucky- I really liked him. Mark thought he did well.
Ace- Yuck, bleah, go home pretty boy....
Kellie- Mark and I both really liked her performance...and, believe me, we expected it to totally suck.
Chris- It was OK, but we expected so much more from him with Queen...disappointed.
Katharine- YAWN
Elliott- We both enjoyed his performance, but still cannot watch him sing.
Taylor- Now THERE'S the Taylor we've come to love! Boy, did I miss him!

Now that was just plain WRONG! I knew that bucky would not win (that'll probably be Chris) but I figured Bucky would make it two more weeks. He especially should not have gone out this week considering that his was one of the best of the night.
I'm bummed. Bucky was the only thing that was keeping this season interesting for me.
