I took your advice about the dollar bid!
Yesterday, for the first time, I listed an
item at 1.00 and today it's up to 20.00!

Usually, I start at 9.99 and the bids are
slow.

Thats GREAT! Its FUN isn't it?

Keep us posted on how your auction does.

I love to hear those kind of success storys and it can give others encouragement to try it.

I really think if everybody did the $1.00 thing(I'm talking strictly collectables)we would see better prices all around. After all this is suppose to be an auction.

I've been to MANY live auctions and if the auctioneer starts something at lets say $50.00 NO ONE BIDS. He drops the bid to $1.00 and the bidding starts....it will exceed the $50.00 x 3 more often then not.

Once you get a couple of determined bidders its anybodys guess what the item will end up at.
