I stopped playing because I started noticing that it seemed as though others were somehow cheating. As though, groups of people were talking to each other on their telephones while playing and sharing info with each other about the cards in their hands.
So, what i'm saying here is that you gotta be careful and really watch what's going on and it can't hurt to lurk at the tables for a few weeks to learn who the major players are and try to tell who is friends with whom.
Any place where money is changing hands, there will be people trying to get it with some sort of an advantage or edge over others.

libra63, I think you posted that 'comment' because you fantasize about being sexually harassed at a car dealership. You have a method to your madness and it just caught up with you.

I never once gave that a thought! Thanks for the heads-up. I might buy a computer game and practice a bit before taking the plunge. And you are so right about not being able to see if the others are bluffing, at least in RL you can sometimes tell. My biggest problem will be keeping up, I'm nervous about being slow.

Hey Kiara go back and read. Where did I say anything about you fantasized about spanking. I came in and posted about the law suit. I said nothing about what they did. Then you come back and say you think they are all drunk. I think apologies are in order. You ranted and raved a whole paragraph about me and I said nothing about what you were complaining about.
No I think you are the one who is drunk. I didn't address you until you came back at me. Read the thread again.
I said nothing about your fantasies.
This is what I said You posted the comment Kiara so get over it. If you didn't want comments directed to you then you should have never posted it. You had a method to your madness and it caught up with you. If you don't want us to comment don't start the thread. It is as easy as that.
libra63, are you on some kind of new medication that befuddles your brain moreso now than when you left months ago? I posted an ARTICLE from the news with NO comments said by me. NONE of the article was written by me and it had NOTHING to do with my fantasies. What part of that can't you understand?
Now if you really want to sit there and think that I posted it because I fantasized about spanking, that does say a lot more about where your mind is headed
Now Kiara show me where I used the word fantasized, prove it. .

I posted it because it was a news article that I thought some may or may not comment on because of the incident.
I did not post it because I wanted to have comments directed at ME. If you can't see the difference you're dummer than I thought. It's equivalent to me saying that you posted your article because you wanted comments about sexual harassment aimed at you. Now do you get it?

Kiara re-read my comments I said
nothing, nothing and nothing about you fantasizing anything. Can you get that through that thick skull of yours.
Now maybe it is time to call you LiarKiara. When you post lies about someone you are liable remember that and what you said I said was a lie and you know it.
And this was certainly was uncalled for. It is called slander.
libra63, I think you posted that 'comment' because you fantasize about being sexually harassed at a car dealership. You have a method to your madness and it just caught up with you.
Spreading lies about me you will never live this down with me Kiara. This is not a threat but a promise.

I post very few topics these days. When I posted this one there was absolutely 'no method to my madness' as you claimed there was, nor did I post it to have comments directed to me.
Too bad you made that assumption. I turned the tables on you to show you how silly your reasoning was but I should have known it would go right over your head and that you would take it literally. Sheesh.

No Kiara you lied when you said I said you fantasied. Now get it through that thick skull of yours I did not say that. I honestly don't care what you fantasize about but I do care when lies are said about me. Evidently you missed the post when someone else said that but of course you are never wrong. Go back and reread that stupid post again or are you afraid to because you know you are wrong. I didn't post anything about you all I said was it was a stupid law suit and she will probably win. Go back and read it instead of thinking you know everything. Do you understand that I will bold it again. I did not say anything about fantasizing. Now do you understand that.
Now you wonder why people never stay around this board and this board is the laughing stalk of OTWA. You go on the attack like a bear instead of going back and finding out that you are wrong you just post some other crap. What is your problem Kiara you can't admit you are wrong for a change. Well you are.

As I said, Libra63....... I posted a topic and there was no 'method to my madness' as you claimed
Your thinking ran amok once again, as did others who can only imagine certain agendas behind many topics started these days. So when you posted your article I tried to show you how stupid that kind of thinking sounded when put right back at you.

This is what I said about that law suit You post a controversial story on a discussion board and you expect everyone to agree with it? Something as stupid as that article. And yes stupid it is but it will probably win.
This is what your answered:
You post a controversial story on a discussion board and you expect everyone to agree with it? Something as stupid as that article. how come you didn't C&P everything I said. If you notice there is another sentence attached to your C&P that you left out. [b]And yes stupid it is but it will probably win
Libra63, what is your problem? If you go back to the beginning where I posted the article and you read very carefully you will see that I made NO comment on it whatsoever.
I have no problem. What do you do post articles and nobody is supposed to comment on them? If that is the case please announce it before you post and everyone here will respect your wishes - NOT . Do you have a reading comprehensive problem.

By JULIANA BARBASSA, Associated Press Writer
FRESNO, Calif. - A jury awarded $500,000 Friday to a woman who was spanked in front of her colleagues in what her employer called a camaraderie-building exercise.
The jury of six men and six women found that Janet Orlando, 53, was subjected to sexual harassment and sexual battery when she was paddled on the rear end two years ago at Alarm One Inc., a home security company in Fresno. The jury said Orlando did not suffer from sexual assault, as she had alleged.
Alarm One was ordered to pay her damages for lost wages, medical costs and pain and suffering. She had asked for at least $1.2 million.

Thanks for the update, kiara. I'm glad she got a bundle...maybe companies now will rethink that trendy ""horseplay makes better employees/comraderie"" crap.
Most of those programs were created for employers to see just how high employees will jump when commanded to.
They are demeaning and as bad as college hazing but more stupid because they are performed by alleged "adults".
With that kind of money hopefully she won't have to work for assholes anymore.

I agree that job programs like that are demeaning to all adults. I'm surprised that employers would even allow it considering all the possible lawsuits these days.

Yes, I realize it was two years ago, Washingtonebayer. That's why I'm surprised that employers would be so ignorant in such recent times.
Would you partake in those kinds of activities for a job camaraderie-building exercise?

Here is another report on how much she was awarded. I wonder how much the lawyers will take.
Jury awards $1.7 million to woman spanked at work
By JULIANA BARBASSA
The Associated Press
FRESNO, Calif. – A jury awarded $1.7 million Friday to a woman who was spanked in front of her colleagues in what her employer called a camaraderie-building exercise.
Jurors awarded Orlando $10,000 for economic loss, $40,000 for future medical costs and $450,000 for emotional distress, pain and suffering. They awarded her an additional $1.2 million in punitive damages.
Orlando's attorney, Nicholas "Butch" Wagner, did not immediately return calls for comment.
K. Poncho Baker, an attorney for Alarm One, said it was excessive.
"I think the jury was so upset at Alarm One that they went overboard," Baker said. "Not to say that what Alarm One did was right, but this allows her to manipulate the system."

Did they break a bone? Does she need surgery?
Are they calling an attorney's fees punitive damages now?

Generally attorney fees are 35% if they prevail.
This seems like a high number however they get zilch if they do not prevail.
