Helen: "One question: If you needed a book on graphic arts, where would you look on eBay if you're browsing a category or just don't have the title of a specific book? I haven't had much luck in selling such books and I'm just wondering."
If it's an instruction book, Art and Photography - art instruction is a good category. Years ago, before all the categories, I sold a lot of art instruction books in the art supplies category.
I'm usually looking for a specific book when I search Ebay so I don't generally use categories to browse.

Thanks for the advice, people. Appreciate it. I tried selling one really nifty large book on graphics on Half.com, no luck; on Amazon now, so far no takers. I'll try art supplies on eBay next, I suppose.

We used to be able to see how many people are waiting to buy a certain book or DVD on Amzn?
I think they have removed that feature?
Recently I listed a few DVD movies on AMZN for under 10 dollars like King Kong,Broken Mountain,Wolf Creek for under 10 dollars, they were sold in hours.

Roady - put keywords in the title specific to the topic of the book. Graphic arts is a HUGE catagory. Does the book focus on preperation for print or reproduction? Is it geared towards electronic or print media? Is it about lay-out, typography, etc? Does it deal with the artistic end, advertising, business purposes (logo, business cards, letterhead, etc).
