Well - he'll be, by far, the most successful #4 finalist.

Well I was shocked. I figured him to be one of the very last if not the winner.
Heard tonight on TV that he had offer from rock ban Fuel to join them. I think ones make it to end but not win goes on to get pretty good offers and are not under contract to American idol so may be better off. We have not heard the last of Chris for sure.
So now who do you think will win? My bet is on Taylor even though he is a bit spastic he can sing ....

Irked - This is actually the second time uel has offered him the job. they did it right after he did their song a few weeks ago too. The problem is that he is under contract to Idol. The final 10 are locked in with them.
Chris' advantage is that he has a major label act interested and they bring along the big gun lawyers but I don't see Idol letting him out of the summer tour and they are going to want to get at least one album out of him before they let him go.

I didn't expect Chris to go either and he really did have a stunned look on his face and it's even more noticeable on the replays. Some voters are claiming that when they voted for him they received a recorded message from Katharine, thanking them for voting for her.

There isn't much choice left for me now but hopefully Taylor will win as he's more versatile than Elliot and certainly more entertaining. I'm not certain if Taylor will have too much of a younger fan base like Chris can garner though.
My last choice is Katharine. When she was good she was boring but she's been getting worse with each week.

The phone mix up is the only thing I can imagine that would justify the advancement of someone that forgot lyrics, went way off key and was so woefully devoid of rythm (she should never try to dance again - that was painful).

When it comes to Katharine, the females seem to hear her singing off key but lots of the guys don't and they give her a good review so maybe guys are just looking more than listening?

Oh yeah - you want to see someothing funny - check out the Katherine fans on the AI boards. They say she deserves her spot because she is beautiful and charming and smart. Maybe 1 in 5 of them actually includes talented in their review of her.
Why do you think she did an entire song on her knees

Of the three left, Katherine is the only one with any talent. Sorry, but Taylor reminds me of a Las Vegas lounge singer. I've heard better in my local bar. Elliott is good, but not good enough. I didn't expect Chris to win even though I thought he was the best. Not one rocker has won yet. I don't think one ever will. AI is about making a pop star. There's nothing pop about Chris. Anyone here who thinks AI isn't rigged? Look at Rubin and Clay. Now just who was the better of those two? Not Rubin, yet Rubin won.

Cheryl - I copmpletely disagree with you. I think Katherine is boring as hell. even when she sings every note correctly, her voice is completely devoid of personality. Elliott is the burgeoning lounge singer in my opinion. He's another one that sings all the notes but doesn't seem to actually feel anything. Taylor has a great voice and he is able to draw you into the lyrics of the song which is what a great singer should be able to do.
As for Chris... Simon thought he would win. I think they realized with the raging success of Kelly's recent album as opposed to the marginal success of the Idol produced pop style album that Rock is a better seller so I don't believe they would eliminate their most popular contestant in order to have a winner that would record still another marginal album.

The recording of the President is erased. DOA Weasle leaves CTU to work for the president.
The president tries to convince Aaron to come over to the dark side but Aaron refuses.
First Lady starts to take a handfull of pills but instead goes for a walk where she finds a Secret Service Agent about to kill Aaron. Scuffle ensues, she gets the gun and kills the agent.
Bierko escapes retrieves an canister of nerve gas no one knew was missing (apparently these things are not counted) and in one of the most convoluted twists, drops it into the the hatch of a Russian Military sub that was parked at a civilian port awaiting US government inspection. About 2 minutes later Bierko and his men enter the nerve gas filled submarine standard ebay available gas marks (apparently they are unaware the the gas has a corosive agent that ate thru door seals early in the season) and take over control of the 12 missiles on board.
Next week is the finale.

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is one of my favorite songs but I actually cringed now and again when Katharine sang it. Elliot almost put me to sleep with his crooning but it's probably for the last time. Taylor did the best but his stance when he's not dancing around looks to me like he's in extreme pain.

Overall, I thought Elliott did well, a rough note here and there. Mark really likes Elliott (he quit watching him).
Katharine, was OK, with the exception of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", which I thought was very good. (I didn't watch her, just listened.)
Taylor, well, he's hot. I tried to vote for over an hour and could not get through as his line was busy. If he had a concert within an hour's drive, we would go.
Katharine is my choice to go. I base this on her performances of late and Elliott's improvement.

MY Taylor, not yours Twig! LOL He is a cutie pie and I love his voice. I am keeping all the digits crossed for him to win! I thought Elliott was boring last night too. Katharine is a good singer, but doesn't have that extra special something. GO SOUL PATROL!!

I think that Katherine did an excellent job auditioning for the Miss America Contest. The last song was just painful. The girl has no rhythm and no soul and no business whatsoever singing a blues song. She should have picked Someone to Watch Over Me.
Elliot sounded OK but I talk about some bad song choices.... Elliott doing Open Arms? It's a power ballad and he never made that transition. As for the last song... if it's down to the wire and everything depends on the votes of the public, you might want to pick a song the public knows (unless you are going to pull off something amazing like Bo did with the Badlands song last year). You can't reach into obscurity with your song choice and then straddle mediocrity in it's performance.
Taylor nailed it. I thought the Clive Davis choice was ok for him, Randy's choice was great, his was even better. He was the only one that picked a decent song for himself in my opinion.
Ironically as much a Simon picks on the guy, he also has predicted the Taylor will win it all. Paula thinks its going to be Elliott.

I can't believe that woman made it to the finals.
Final vote percentages were amazing... can't believe it was that close.
And it's time to admit that there are actually two reality shows I watch. The other concluded tonight. America's Next Top Model. This is the first year I actually picked the winner of it... maybe that's a good sign....

I can't believe it was that close either but I had a feeling that Elliot would go. So now I hope Taylor wins.... it shows that he loves what he's doing and he is very real.
Then again if Katharine gets on her knees and shows more cleavage...... who knows?

Re: American Inventor
I was disappointed that Fransisco went out so early but I think the Trek deal was a really great twist.
Nice little additions - having Jerry Rice on his side can really help the guy with "The Catch" get that to market considering all of his endorsement contracts and connections.
With the game, I didn't believe it would win but the Hasbro deal is a great opportunity.
As for the child seat... did anyone think that something that could save the life of kids would not win?
Overall I think they all won. May not have gotten the million but an opportunity for ewach to get their products to market is damn nice consolation prize.
Isn't it ironic that of the final four, 2 of the finalists and the eventual winner for the American Inventor were immigrants?

Perhaps some immigrants aren't as spoiled and appreciate the opportunity to live in America so try harder. Great ideas by all anyways and Inventor was better than I expected it to be.

They'll show the percentages if they're close. And they're always close....
I tried to vote for 1 1/2 hours last night and couldn't get through. (Hang up and hit redial, hang up and hit redial.) Good luck Taylor!

Why is it that Idol picks the most hideous songs as thethe signature song for the winner? Katherines song was just boring and Talyors started out to be as well until injected a bit I'm hoping for taylor but the difference is going to be in who had people voting in that last hour.
DialIdol.com has Taylor as the winner. I hope they are right.
