It is only a failed war if you pull out not caring what you leave behind. That is failure. A war is not a garden party to which soldiers go to to engage the enemy in small talk and tea. I have never seen a war that has no casualties.
Don't get me wrong I am not totally for the war, I don't like our soldiers being hurt or killed either but I'll be dam^^ed if I would want to be a turn-tail quitter.

WOW!!! from 31% to 36% approval, holy smokes, he's on a regular roll! Why 5% is about a WHOLE PERCENTAGE POINT outside the margin of error. This is indeed impressive.
Oh, and so is the last part of the report, where 10 percent MORE said they'd vote Democrat than Republican.

U.S.: Civilian deaths feeding insurgency

BAGHDAD, Iraq - The death of civilians at the hands of U.S. troops has fueled the insurgency in Iraq, according to a top-level U.S. military commander, who said U.S. officials began keeping records of these deaths last summer.
Lt. Gen. Peter Chiarelli, who as head of the Multinational Force-Iraq is the No. 2 U.S. commander in Iraq, said the number of civilian dead and wounded is an important measurement of how effectively U.S. forces are interacting with the Iraqi people.
``We have people who were on the fence or supported us who in the last two years or three years have in fact decided to strike out against us. And you have to ask: Why is that? And I would argue in many instances we are our own worst enemy,'' Chiarelli said.
Chiarelli said he reviews the figures daily. If fewer civilians are killed, ``I think that will make our soldiers safer,'' Chiarelli said.
U.S. officials previously have said they don't keep track of civilian causalities, and Iraqi officials stopped releasing numbers of U.S.-caused casualties after Knight Ridder reported in September 2004 that the Iraqi Ministry of Health had attributed more than twice as many civilian deaths to the actions of U.S. forces than to ``terrorist'' attacks during the period from June to September 2004.

He (Kerry) and five other Democrats were in the minority on the vote - Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, Barbara Boxer of California, Robert Byrd of West Virginia, Tom Harkin of Iowa, and Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts.
But I am looking at the list and this means Levin voted against his own plan
It also means there were many Democrats who also voted it down.
Once again it is so easy to prove you wrong.

Bush said many times there is no withdrawal plan for Iraq!!! It now comes out that General Casey had a withdrawal plan all along. A plan that mirrors the plan (D)Carl Levin put up for vote. Bush saying there is no withdrawal plan is JUST ANOTHER DESPERATE LIE FROM A FAILURE NAMED G.DUMBO BUSH.
The other day I asked an old lady customer what she thought of Bush. She said "I think Bush is a SISSY."
She went on to say "did you ever see a real man wave at people like Bush does?" "He waves at people like a SISSY OR A WOMAN." LOL
