I made doll clothes for Barbie and Cabbage patch kid clothes from the leftover yarn from my knitting and crocheting projects, and other small things (christmas ornaments, etc). I put up two Cabbage Patch kid sweaters on Ebay just last month, and both sold the first time around. Only problem I have is finding the time to make more to sell.. *laugh* My auction life and real life keep me pretty busy.
Its sure good on the ego, though, to have made something that someone else thought good enough to buy.

As to your "UFO" (UnFinishedObject), list it on ebay, emphasizing your frustration and embarrassment (no joke). Partially-completed quilts/tops still get good $. I think it triggers quilters' orphan-rescue response.

kiki2 I bet you that letter was written by a competitor. Guys you have to keep in mind that you are not alone in this business, there are hundreds and hundreds of sellers like you, and they will anything it's necessary to bring you down, you can not be sensitive about your creations, no matter waht it's that's your effort and keep in mind there will be always, ALWAYS an audience for all kind items, what you have to do is promote it, leave your feelings aside.

Poton- it's not always easy to leave your feelings aside, expecially when it's something you have made yourself. Yes there are hundreds and hundreds of sellers like ourselves, but not all of them are underhanded and will try to steal our work. Some yes, looking for an easy way to make a quick $$$, but people like that are everywhere. I for one think that the feelings we do have about what we have created is what sometimes can make a difference.

I've made and sold cookies on eBay. Even though I made and shipped them the same day, I was so worried that they wouldn't get to the buyer fast. I thought that they would leave a feedback saying, "hard as a rock, awful cookies". LOL. They left me great feedback though saying they were yummy

Wow, I thought selling food products was an Ebay no-no! That must be nice to get a package of cookies in the mail.
