Oh my god, Linda, look what you just said!:

"groups LIKE the ACLU...and other atheists/seculartics who just CAN'T remove their own EYES from viewing them....that they find so offensive."

Does this mean that from now on you won't complain about offensive material on TV but will just "remove your own eyes from viewing it"????? Hmmmmm. Bless your heart.

Well....tapping my fingers....waiting for justsimpleme to answer a yes or no question...so I can address his/her question to me. Which was:

I would like your view on this please;
"Why don't you just tell the whole truth? WHY are religious institutions given tax exempt status, really? Could it be because it is widely known though UNSPOKEN that people would NOT pay those taxes and would rather see their "houses of worship" go down the tubes? BTW, who is paying those taxes that the religious institutions are not? With the US declining in ACTUAL Church attendance, whatever you may want to call your building and the increasing decay of values (your words I believe,) it seems to me that America is speaking loudly and clearly that BY IT'S ACTIONS, IT DOES NOT SUPPORT YOUR POSITION""
=======

And I'll give him her another couple of minutes to answer....and if he/she doesn't...then his questions will also go unanswered. Fair is fair.

Whatever we focus our attention on grows...Spending time and energy calling attention to slime is to give it power...But what fun, in her case ... to see her squirm, squeal and slip.

And it's here for all to see, 24 hours a day.

Yes, it is, isn't it helen.

And they all get to see just how PRO-American I am.

And how others here, including yourself aren't.

They see it all....don't stew that your positions are being ignored.

Sorry, Linda. IMO you are the antithesis of someone who is PRO AMERICA. You have no tolerance for any opinion different from yours. Being able to express your opinion is one of America's most important ideals. Just because someone disagrees with you, doesn't make them evil. Almost every post you are in degrades to name-calling and accusations, but has no real substance.

I don't agree, coincoach.

And I don't believe you can be unbiased in your judgements either.

But...hey...that's YOUR problem....NOT mine.

Again, you missed the point. Who said anything about biased opinion. Every one has an opinion. I may or may not be biased in my opinion, but if someone disagrees with me, that's their right. I don't scream epithets at them for their opposing opinion or label them stupid, a communist or one of your other favorite terms. Free speech is the principal on which America was founded. You try to bully or insult anyone who has a different opinion than yours. That is certainly not the American way and does not make you the super patriot you think you are.

Oh I see....you THINK free speech is only ALLOWED from one side of the political aisle. LOL LOL LOL

I'm using MY right to free speech also. You don't like it? Then IGNORE it. I have EVERY right to voice MY opinion on ALL subjects....and what other posters post here.

Learn to live with the FACT that free speech is for ALL....not just what YOU agree with.

Where do you get to that point from my posts? Really, are you being deliberately dense? You are the one bragging about being so proAmerican. America--the land of free speech for everyone who agrees with Linda. I doubt anyone here would not want you to post any opinion you want and if they oppose your opinion, expect a reasonably respectful argument from you. Do you ever listen seriously to what anyone else says?
It is you with the "my way or the highway" attitude that really lacks American spirit. There's room for everyone and their opinions in America. I do not care about your opinions, only your right to express them-so post away. Someone so bitter,so hateful and so desperate for attention is to be pitied. You are right about one thing, I can ignore you.

coincoach....AGAIN I'll REPEAT myself....just for you.

I have NO problem with anyone posting different opinions.

Yes, I respond to them.

That is what you're WHINING about. MY response to them.

That's YOUR problem.

I'd be MORE than pleased if you'd just ignore me....then I don't have to continue responding to your WHINING complaints.

It would be nice if Linda ANSWERED my question that SHE INVITED and then attempted to back out of because it was "uncomfortable" for her by saying that she asked me a question first, WHICH I PROVED THROUGH COPY/PASTE was NOT TRUE (times were shown.)

I am not tapping my fingers on the table, that is rude and ill mannered.

No....what is rude is your whining about me not answering your questions...saying some garbage about I selectively answer your questions....

...then REFUSING to answer mine.

What a laugh. You were playing games last night and you KNOW it.

I said at least THREE times I would answer your question AS SOON as you gave a simple yes or no to mine.

Would you? NO.....you weren't going to. So I gave you a time limit .....how long I was willing to wait for YOUR ANSWER before I left.

It was YOUR choice...your call.

Don't whine about it now.

Linda said "That is what you're WHINING about. MY response to them."

Linda--You are the BIGGEST whiner on this board. You whine about every possible subject---even Chelsea Clinton's possible future father-in-law. It amazes me how blind you are to that fact. What you say matters not at all to me. You are all bluster and no substance, like a child having a tantrum. Go try to intimidate someone else. I would put you on ignore, but it is such fun to see what that convoluted little mind comes up with next.

You're right coincoach. I've been thinking lately that it would be interesting to see what would happen if we all ignored Linda. She'd only get backslapping hoots from bear and stoneblind and the occaisional kudo from piinthesky and "reverend" colin when they get bored over at the toadhouse. Would it make her spin out even more? Launching her into a firestorm of posts to try and bring us out? Or would she go away, not receiving the attention she so desperately needs?

On the other hand, it's so much fun, such cheap entertainment to ring her bells....

Profe: I've been suggesting that we all ignore her for a while. On the other hand, keeping her busy here keeps her out of mischief in her hometown, I suppose. I picture a little old lady with no family or friends, no job or future, who lives for these sites, forever cranky and illogical.

Profe--It is a dilemma, isn't it? Ignoring her would probabaly cause her to hold her breath until she turned blue--pretty tempting, I'll admit. Don't think it would do any good unless everyone ignored her, though. Cheap entertainment is hard to come by these days. Even a night at the movies will cost you $20.00 apiece.

The Abolishing Christian Legacy Union

by Jay on 12-11-06 @ 9:53 am
Filed under ACLU, Church And State, 1st Amendment, News, Christmas

In a column for WND Chuck Norris writes about the ACLU:

The ACLU is not anti-religion, just anti-Christian.

By definition, it's the American Civil Liberties Union. By action, it has become the Abolishing Christian Legacy Union.

The ACLU will assure Muslim clerics and imams the right to pray on planes, fight for an atheist's rights to remove a cross, stand beside pro-abortionists, help illegal aliens cross our borders, and establish rights for the sexual deviant by forming the ACLU Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Project, but what is it doing for Christians and Christmas censorship?

While allegedly fighting against the tyranny of the majority, the ACLU itself rules religiously by litigation, lobbying, and supporting counter-culture Christian movements.

So who died and appointed the ACLU as America's religious constitutional watchdog?
Membership for the ACLU is only 500,000. America's population is 300 million. I think it's time that we helped them feel their size!

I suggest the rest of us follow the passion of Thomas Jefferson, who spoke these words that are etched on the very wall of his memorial in Washington, D.C.: "I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."
