coincoach....I'm beginning to see you are just another busybody here. Always posting OFF topic and directing your anger towards me.
then maybe you should just STAY OUT OF IT AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.
Linda, it is you with the problem. You can dish out the hate and post any filth you want and it is OK. But now you can not take the heat. You are famous for doing this. CRYBABY_K AT HER FINEST. When the criticism is directed at you, you complain and whine. OH WOW IS THE BIG BABY tsk tsk tsk.
Perhaps if you change your diaper every now and then you would be in a better mood.
It is ok for you to post your opinions but no one else can. The one who claims she to want to uphold civil rights. The only civil rights you care about are your own. You have proven on every board that you post to, that you are filled with hate and only care about those that share the same views as you.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

I have absolutely NO interest in who YOU like or don't like, kiara. To think I do is pretty self centered on your part. lol
The point is your usual MO is to come into a thread and start getting personal with ME.
That has also been coincoach's most recent MO. She too doesn't post to topic but starts going off topic and directing it towards me.
Since I'm the one involved - I'm the one it's directed at....I'll mention it and also mention how mingo and logansdad have a habitual habit of LYING.
Seems they can't just post their OWN thoughts....opinions...etc....nope they have to LIE about me.
Just pointing out kiara....that you ALSO didn't post to topic here.....so maybe cheryl's going to come in and accuse YOU and coincoach of DESTROYING a thread.
LOL LOL LOL LOL
Yea....when hell freezes over. That double standard at play once again.

again you are wrong, logansdad.
Look up the two words....TRY and learn the difference between taking criticism and being lied about.
They ARE different....totally different.
You don't 'cricitize' you LIE.
And I challenge you AGAIN to prove I've ever agreed with any of the things you posted in this thread.
You CAN'T...because you're LYING....not criticizing.

Linda, Linda, Linda---My post had not one ounce of anger in it. You are the one who sounds so very angry. I responded to what Logansdad posted and wondered why you thought he was delusional. Logansdad quoted Ann Coulter, not you. Perhaps you are confused, dear. Busybody--moi? I don't agree at all. Just posting to a thread I found interesting. My post was calm, polite and non-accusatory. Can't say the same for yours. Who is the one out of control?

And I said I don't care who you like or don't like.
Sorry to have put so much confusion in your little mind. lol lol from one page to the next...must be extremely difficult for you to handle. I'll try to go S L O W E R next time I respond to some of your GARBAGE.

You have also OFTEN directed your comments to me. I will respond. And I will point out that I am starting to see you as JUST another busy body...who isn't the least bit interested in discussing the TOPICS....but rather also want to get personal with me when the LIARS club starts their game playing.
That of course is your right. I just thought more of you when you first came to our board. I see I was WRONG about you.

I didn't expect you to care, Linda_K just in case you think I did. I never once mentioned who I like or don't like either.
You must have me confused with someone else you were criticizing here who mentioned the ones they like and dislike. I can understand as you seem to be angry at almost everyone here and it must be a full-time job venting at everyone at once.

Linda--I have responded to several of your posts because I disagreed with you and thought I could give my opinion, which is just as important as yours, without being called a busybody--and I will continue to do so. My posts are usually polite, but I will stand up for myself when someone slings names or epithets at me. Have also posted on several threads here in which you are not even involved, despite what you and your inflated ego think. So, since you have pegged me as someone who doesn't agree with your philosophy, you now think less of me. Who cares?

**Watch FOX News Channel or go to http://foxnews.com for more
This is a list of all that saddam had done....and that didn't bother SOME liberals enough to support his being held accountable and put to death....but rather they supported the position that things in Iraq would have been/were better off when saddam was in power.
How sad and totally misguided they are for EVER feeling that way....after all this:
Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein
Chronicle of the atrocities committed by Saddam Hussein:
Hussein's regime killed, tortured, raped and terrorized the Iraqi people and its neighbors for over two decades.
Hundreds of thousands of people died as a result of Saddam's actions.
Saddam had approximately 40 of his own relatives murdered.
1980-88: Iran-Iraq war left 150,000 to 340,000 Iraqis and 450,000 to 730,000 Iranians dead.
1983-1988: Documented chemical attacks by Iraqi regime caused some 30,000 Iraqi and Iranian deaths.

At least 2,000 Kurdish villages were destroyed during the campaign of terror.
2001: Amnesty International report: "Victims of torture in Iraq are subjected to a wide range of forms of torture, including the gouging out of eyes, severe beatings and electric shocks... some victims have died as a result and many have been left with permanent physical and psychological damage."
Human Rights Watch: Saddam's 1987-1988 campaign of terror against the Kurds killed at least 50,000 and possibly as many as 100,000 Kurds.
Refugees International: "Oppressive government policies have led to the internal displacement of 900,000 Iraqis."
Iraq's 13 million Shiite Muslims, the majority of Iraq's population of approximately 22 million, faced severe restrictions on their religious practice.
FBI: Iraqi government was involved in a plot to assassinate former President George Bush during his April 14-16, 1993, visit to Kuwait.
The Iraqi regime has repeatedly refused visits by human rights monitors.
From 1992 until 2002, Saddam prevented the U.N. Special Rapporteur from visiting Iraq.

Iraqi Government Executes Former Dictator
By CHRISTOPHER TORCHIA and QASSIM ABDUL-ZAHRA
AP
BAGHDAD, Iraq (Dec. 29) - Saddam Hussein , the shotgun-waving dictator who ruled Iraq with a remorseless brutality for a quarter-century and was driven from power by a U.S.-led war that left his country in shambles, was taken to the gallows and executed Saturday, ABC News confirmed.
Was SADDAM HUSSEIN worth the lives of 3,000 American Troops AND STILL COUNTING I don't think so.
THE GOOD PEOPLE OF THE U.S. NEED TO HOLD BUSH RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS CRIMES.

But they're not going to be able to do much of anything.
Certainly not give those who foolishly voted for CHANGE [not the dem party] anything they said they supported.
Just wait and see.
They'll pass the new request for war funding the President has asked for.
And they won't get much passed in the senate unless a LOT of republicans agree with whatever is on the table.
Then hopefully the America voters will see they didn't come through with all their 'promises' of change....lol...like on the ethics issue...old pelosi is screwing that up royally already and they're not even in office yet. LOL LOL LOL and '08 will go back to the way it was.

from the AP, in part:
CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) --
President Bush said Friday that Saddam Hussein's execution marks the "end of a difficult year for the Iraqi people and for our troops" and cautioned that his death will not halt the violence in Iraq.
Yet, Bush said in a statement issued from his ranch in Texas, "it is an important milestone on Iraq's course to becoming a democracy that can govern, sustain and defend itself, and be an ally in the war on terror."
In a message of assurance to the people of Iraq, Bush said the execution was a reminder of how far the Iraqi people have come since the end of Saddam's rule.
"The progress they have made would not have been possible without the continued service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform," he said.
Bush, who has spent weeks crafting a new U.S. policy in Iraq, warned of more challenges for U.S. troops.
"Many difficult choices and further sacrifices lie ahead," he said. "Yet the safety and security of the American people require that we not relent in ensuring that Iraq's young democracy continues to progress."
When Saddam was apprehended in 2003, Bush promised that the deposed Iraqi leader would "face the justice he denied to millions." The administration blamed Saddam for hundreds of thousands of mass executions.
In November, Saddam was sentenced to death after being convicted of murder in the killings of 148 Shiite Muslims from an Iraqi town where assassins tried to kill him in 1982.
After three decades in power, Saddam was captured in December 2003 in an underground hideout on a farm near his hometown of Tikrit. Two days later, Bush remarked: "Good riddance. The world is better off without you, Mr. Saddam Hussein."
The president was briefed at 6:15 p.m. CST by National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley about the execution procedure, and that it would go forward in the next few hours. Hadley had been in touch with U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad, who had been in contact with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

IF """the safety and security of the American people require that we not relent in ensuring that Iraq's young democracy continues to progress."""
then , considering the state of Iraq, we are in deep doo-doo!
However, the state of Iraq has NO effect on our safety and security except for
1. the slaughter and maiming of our troops who are THERE.
2. the growth of the number of people who hate America. Iraq HAS BEEN MADE, BY BUSH, a breeding ground for terrorists.
The death of Saddam has not made them one step closer to a PEACEFUL democracy.

Bomb Kills 31, Wounds 58 in Iraqi Town
Updated 7:52 AM ET December 30, 2006
By LAUREN FRAYER
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A bomb planted on a minibus killed 31 people in a fish market in a mostly Shiite town south of Baghdad on Saturday, and the man who parked the vehicle was cornered and killed by a mob as he walked away from the explosion.
There was no indication that the explosion, in Kufa, a Shiite town 100 miles south of the Iraqi capital, was related to the execution of Saddam Hussein. The attack came on the eve of when Iraq's Shiites begin celebrating Eid al-Adha, the most important holiday of the Islamic calendar. Shoppers had crowded the market to buy supplies for the four-day festival.
At least 58 people were wounded, said Issa Mohammed, director of the morgue in the neighboring town of Najaf.
Television footage showed hundreds of men in traditional Arab headdresses swarming around the vehicle's charred frame, toppled on its side in the street. Ambulances and fire trucks pulled up to the site, and a coffin could be seen being loaded onto the top of a car.
The U.S. military announced the deaths of three Marines and two soldiers, making December the year's deadliest month for U.S. troops in Iraq with the toll reaching 108."""
