Well, I offered my expertise in the computer manufacturing business to Alien here in this thread, and it went without even being acknowleged by him. I hereby recind that offer now. It's too late to save this guy.

I now would highly recommend that anyone who has been waiting longer then 30 days, and have NOT received their systems, to immediately notify their postmasters and file mail fraud charges before you have no recourse, if you paid via check or money-order through the US Mail.

I also advise you all to immediately charge back the sale, if paid via credit card, and let the C.C. company know that many many others have been defrauded by this merchant as well. Contact PayPal, Billpoint, or whoever it is you used to pay, and make it clear that you were ripped off.

He committed fraud by misleading, and misrepresentation of when your systems would ship.

He was NARU'd from eBay.

He continues to sell and sell on various different auction sites, with no thought that he cannot even complete his orders from several months ago.

It's time to wake up, and stop feeling bad for Alien, and see that he is using you and your money, without regard.

Alien is way over his head, and I see all the signs of a new business going belly-up, and everyone coming out a loser.

You only have 90 days from the time you make payment to file a mail fraud charge, and some of you are closing in on that time frame.

DON'T GET SCREWED!

FILE YOUR COMPLAINT NOW!

The worst that happens, is that it MAKES him move his ass to get you your systems.

He is telling you all anything to keep you at bay, and passified, but the writing is on the wall.

Alien is on a collision course with failure.

I am so frustrated and ANGRY with Alien Distribution and this BULL they've been feeding us for too long! No News is Not Good News! I am a nervous wreck. I no longer have any Christmas spirit left because of this mess! I still don't have a computer and it is now 2:25 pm eastern time. I don't have any tracking numbers or anything. Every single promise made by this company has fallen by the wayside. If there is Anyone out there who can tell me what to do at this point please respond. My 16 year old son saved every penny of the $500 that I gave to this company with the assurance that he would have his computer by Christmas! I know for a fact that some of the people that have received their computers paid after I did! Please anyone out there who can help, respond ASAP! I feel like the biggest fool around! How in the world am I suppose to explain how I got into this mess....

Every time i ask you about my speakers, you send me this email which is full of lies WHY?????????

Dear Customer:

Please take time to read this entire e-mail.

Currently our staff is overworked with e-mail processing. Our servers are also
being upgraded to handle the influx of new sales and questions. We also hope to
have the helpdesk tracking software up and running before the end of the week.
Due to this heavy influx and the need to fulfill order above all, we must
implement this automated e-mail.

If you have an order with us, please note that next week (12/11/2000) we will be
updating the website hourly, and not just daily. We have hired additional staff
members starting next week to assist us. We have many more systems and products
to ship, and will be processing them as quickly as possible. Please look for
your tracking numbers there and your order status.

We will also be removing the security password system on the website for auction
orders. This is to show all customers that we are shipping systems, and tracking
numbers and systems are getting out there.

Many ask if you will get your computers by Christmas, and we have to say, yes.
We are working hard to fulfill all the systems in the coming two weeks. We will
be shipping many computers faster than UPS ground, many are already receiving
their systems by 2nd day air.

We apologize for not anticipating unforeseen problems in production and supply
that has caused the delay in your machines. As reason for this we will be
upgrading your systems free of charge to much faster systems (ie 800MHz. There
was no intent on our part to cause these problems.

If you have support issues, please call 866-22ALIEN. Also please call this
number if you would like to cancel a current pending order. If canceling an
order, please leave your full name, phone number, auction number, e-mail
address, and address. That way we can process your request.

Those users that ordered multiple systems and have only receive partial orders,
please keep in mind those units will also be shipping.

Again, updates will be available via our website at:
http://www.aliendistribution.com/

Thank you.

Pocono, apparently you don't have all the facts. We had a binding agreement attached to the bid process of our systems that you are apparently not aware of. We are within our own agreement to each customer. We have not intentionally misrepresented our shipping times (which are further defined in our legal notice), and have notified most everyone by posting updates as stated on our website. Further, people are allowed to cancel their order and get a full refund, as required by law.

I would strongly suggest that you not publicly accuse someone of a crime without proof, and it is hard to ignore the fact we have and are still shipping systems. Even in this very thread people have told publicly they have received their machines.

Easycoop, I will check personally on your order and see what happened there. The build list is different from what we post on the internet. There were a few burps in translating from the build queue software, and the website.

Ishorman, I don't know your real name so I can't comment on your order.

Irfan, again I don't have your name to give you status on your speakers. Though we did ship out 100 more speakers yesterday and more today. I believe we have 470 speakers to ship out alone by tomorrow.

Thank you.

Hey Alien, YOU are wrong my friend.

I HAVE the facts, and have been helping others to compile them.

You cannot dictate the laws of the US Postal service, and they will not be calmed by your false promises and statements.

And why is it that takes ME posting here to draw you out so that all of these fine people can finally get an answer from you?

I find the business practices of Alien Dist. to be fraudulant, irresposible, uncommitted, and downright amature AT BEST!

You have ruined Christmas for so many people, and you feel nothing!

You should be ashamed of the way that you have gone about taking peoples money, which could have been accumulating interest for them, and not delivered their items as promised over and over again.

THAT is fraud.

It must be nice to have almost $100,000. of other peoples money working for you months on end, huh?

Again people, the delaying tactics can cost you your legal right to recover your money.

FILE A MAIL FRAUD COMPLAINT NOW!!!

Pocono:

Again, if you had all the facts, and were directly involved then you have seen the legal notice and agreement that we use to bind the auction process, and know the rights of the individual. Anyone unhappy about delivery or those who do not wish to wait any longer can certainly request a refund, and it will be given. We have acted within the law.

As for ruining everyone christmas, again, these units were not promised or sold as holiday sales. We did not guarantee delivery by christmas. These are low priced, speedy computers built in quantity and not marketed as holiday gifts. Sure they make good ones, but not marketed in that manner.

We are still building systems and shipping them. There were numerous difficulties that arose during this entire auction process that did indeed delay delivery. We have been honest about those explanations and updated our UPDATE section of our website very frequently explaning each and every one of them. From a heat issue, which was cured by a modification, and then redesign by the case manufacturer, to shortages in certain components, and also a shipment of finished machine to Miami by a mistake in a transport company.

We have been selling these machines on auctions for several months now, and not a single case of fraud has occured. Hundreds, if not over a thousand now, auction systems sold. Certainly there have been some unhappy customers, but you will not find a single proven case of a crime committed by us. Why? Because we have not committed fraud.

You seem very committed to making sure someone files something against us. You also state that you are a system builder yourself. I would not be surprised if perhaps you, yourself, had some problems with our great deals on eBay and would have had reason to see them closed down.

Again, we were not NARU'd by eBay because of fraud, anyone can contact them on the matter. It was the constant reports of listing violations, from wording in our listings to listing full names on our website for customers to track their orders, to the final straw, a supposed link to a previously suspended user. The very same kind of action by eBay that you, yourself again, state on these boards that eBay is guilty of not paying attention and that competitors are very active in shutting down other sellers, especially when they are taking sales from them.

We have had to result to the old fashioned attorney versus eBay bit to handle our status. Why? Because eBay just ignores you after awhile. If we were so committed to fraud, we would have been right back up on eBay and listing under another name or account. We aren't because we want to see this resolved the correct fashion.

I think your interests in the matter are not completely unbiased.

So now "I" am the one who is responsible for your problems...LOL

So now "I" turned you into ebay...LMAO

I had no idea who Alien Dist. was, until a few of my friends here started to voice their concerns over having not received their systems after weeks and sometimes months of waiting.

I offered my help to you, and you never bothered to even acknowlege that fact, OR the fact that I had went back and deleted all of my prior posts about you.

I gave you benefit of the doubt, and boy was I wrong.

BTW: I live within minutes of the Altec-Lansing co., and have "peoples" that work there

You say that you never said these systems would arrive for Christmas, but this quote:

"Many ask if you will get your computers by Christmas, and we have to say, yes."

is from your e-mail.

You know well what I wrote in other threads here as well, which means that you ARE wasting your time here, rather then working on the systems that people are waiting for.

You don't come here to answer anyones questions, until I make a post, then you by some miraculous miracle, show up.

Look, I could care less what you do with other customers, but until you deliver them to all of my fellow posters here, I will continue to encourage everyone to file mail fraud charges against you.

You are full of excuses, and have strung these good people along long enough. Send them their damned computers, or pay the price.

Also, I could give you a great source for your black "custom built" <grin> Book PCs with the mouse, wireless keyboard, etc. in Hong Kong, for $165. each by the 20' container, but then again, I'm sure you already know who they are

Well, look what day it is. I believe it is the last business day UPS will make a delivery before Christmas. And contrary to what AD said a little earlier in the thread, 4 to five weeks from the first week of November is well before Christmas, and they did say earlier in this thread that they would say yes to the question of delivery by Christmas.
I don,t know who this guy is that gets the quick responses from AD, but does it strike any of you odd that someone that didn,t spend thier hard earned money with AD can get that much more attention from them than the people who acually bought the systems.
Alien since this is the only way I know of to acually get a message to you, I want you to know something. I WANT MY COMPUTER!!!!

Alien: You may call me "Pocono" if it will cause you to respond to me any sooner! "Pocono" excuse me for taking liberties with your user name. Alien, you have truly misrepresented yourselves because, to mislead your customers whether with misleading wording or out and out lying it all means the same thing (if it smells like a duck and looks like a duck)! Now you claim that you never told anyone they would get their computers by Christmas, THAT IS A LIE!!! You sent out emails to me and several others as well stating this. AND JUST SO YOU KNOW... THIS WAS AN AUCTION! WHICH IMPLIES, THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR MERCHANDISE UPON PAYMENT! I read your statement that it would take 2-4 weeks to receive my computer, if you had stated over 4 weeks I WOULD NEVER HAVE PAID YOU AS YOU STIPULATED "IMMEDIATELY" AND EXPECTED SHIPMENT BY CHRISTMAS! CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU MAY THINK I AM NOT COMPLETELY STUPID. I CAN COUNT AND I PROBABLY STILL WOULD HAVE BID ON YOUR COMPUTER BECAUSE IT WAS A GOOD BARGAIN, BUT I WOULD HAVE WAITED FOR AN AUCTION AFTER CHRISTMAS AND GOTTEN MY SON SOMETHING ELSE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!

I feel for all of you, as I know what it will be like having to tell your loved ones that you "thought" you had bought their gifts weeks or months ago for Christmas, but unfortunately, all you did was throw your money away to a NARU'd seller on ebay.

Alien Dist. thinks that they are oh so sly, by shipping "something" to each customer, as that cancels out any reversal of charge action on the part of online payment companies such as "PayPal".

He is being very calculating in his deceptions, and covering his ass big time.

I implore you to PLEASE make a complaint and take action before it is too late!

Those of you receiving a "part" of your order especially need to make your complaints immediately, or he can claim that you DID receive your item in full, and has delivery confirmations to prove it!

Listen to me, I have no stake in this entire fiasco, other then to help my fellow posters here. Just because he may have started out attempting to be a good business, MILLIONS of people lose their hard earned money each year to companies that go "belly up" under less circumstances then these.

Contact:

The National Fraud center
The US Postal Inspector Generals Office
The Better Business Bureau
The State Attorney Generals Office
Your Credit Card company

At least get your complaint documented SOMEHOWE, SOMEWHERE so that you have something to back you up SHOULD this happen.

Here is some Alien Info:

and THEN when you try to leave a message:

Pocono,

Why are you so against Allien? I don't like them either because I have my speakers and no computer but how are you involved. If yu give me a good reason you want us to file fraud I would but you are to hastey with this fraud remark with no background.

Alien, where are you? No updates since the 11th? You said every hour there would be updates. If you don't have the time to update a webpage then I know I'm not getting my computer. I have about one more week of waiting before I take other actions. Please reply to this and update your web page asap.

Others out there, I suggest we gang together and use our power in numbers. I don't want to say we got screwed yet but it does look tghis way. Alien please get back to us so we don't have to exercise our rights as consumers!

cas297: You asked me "Why are you so against Allien?"

Simple...

I don't like to see people get ripped off.

He is using excuse after excuse to string you all along, and I when I see a good fight, I jump right in!

"Wherever there's a cop beatin' a guy...
Wherever a hungry newborn baby cries...
Where there's a fight 'gainst the blood and hatred in the air,
Just look for me, cause I'll be there!
Wherever there's somebody fightin' for a place to stand,
or a decent job or a helpin' hand,
Wherever somebody's strugglin' to be free...
Look in their eyes, and you'll see me."
