One more item to blame on Bush for not securing the borders like he promised to do after the 9/11 attacks.
And still more people are murdered EACH DAY in California than US troops that are dying in the line of duty.
When Bush declares California has WMD hidden in the state and was responsible for the 9/11 attacks, wants democracy and the governor was responsible for the deaths of more than 3,000 residents, then maybe people will take you seriously.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

AlQaeda Senda A Message to Democrats
ABC News
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
Brian Ross and Hoda Osman Report:
Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.
In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.
"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones who lost," Zawahri said, according to a full transcript obtained by ABC News.
Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.
"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

So THIS is the man you support.....by removing our troops from Iraq...YOU will be handing HIM a victory.
And you call yourself an American? You're sure not in my book when you support this murdering muslim over your own country.

IRAQI militants are taking most of the $US1.5 billion ($1.92 billion) a year that's stolen from Iraq's main oil refinery through smuggling and corruption, the government told parliament today.
Speaking at the second reading of the 2007 budget, Deputy Prime Minister Barham Salih said crime is behind the crisis in the oil industry, which is struggling to meet Iraq's own fuel needs despite having the world's third biggest reserves.
"We have a system and an administration which encourage corruption," said Mr Salih, who has oversight over the economy.
"We are losing $US1.5 billion at Baiji refinery alone and most of this money is channelled to terrorists who are using it to target us and target our nation."
Baiji, 180km north of Baghdad, provides most of Iraq's domestically refined fuel. It lies in Saddam Hussein's home province of Salahaddin, where insurgents from the Sunni Arab minority are strong.
This year's budget foresees government spending of $US41 billion ($52.57 billion). Officials have estimated that smuggling of Iraq's main resource, as well as other corruption, has cost the country several billion dollars a year since the US invasion.

And the President has told America what HE plans to do about it....to stop it and get the killings stopped/lessened.
What's the DEMS/liberals PLAN?????
Well...they don't HAVE ONE. They just want to quit and give the victory to our enemies....the terrorists. Just like they did in VN.
tsk tsk tsk

BAGHDAD, Iraq (Jan. 16) -- An explosion outside a Baghdad university as students were heading home for the day killed at least 65 people on Tuesday in the deadliest of several attacks on predominantly Shiite areas. The attacks, and the announcement of four U.S. military deaths, came on a day the United Nations said more than 34,000 Iraqi civilians died last year in sectarian violence.

U.S. beefs up force to calm Gulf fears
By Rowan Scarborough
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
January 16, 2007
The Pentagon began building up its military presence in the Persian Gulf, including defensive Patriot missiles, after friendly Arab states privately expressed alarm over Iran's increasingly bellicose pronouncements.
Some in the administration began to fear that unless Washington reassured the Gulf states, it would lose their support at a critical juncture in the Iraq war. Without the support of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and other predominately Sunni Muslim countries, achieving reconciliation in Iraq would be much more difficult, defense sources said.
"The threat Iran represents is growing. It's multidimensional. And it is, in fact, of concern to everybody in the region," Vice President Dick Cheney said Sunday on Fox News.
President Bush last week, in announcing a new strategy for Iraq, laid out what the administration considers a tough, two-pronged move against Tehran's radical regime. He said the U.S. would actively target Iranian saboteurs in Iraq. Hours later, American commandos raided an Iranian office in Irbil, north of Baghdad, and took five Iranians into custody.
The second prong involves sending two aircraft carriers to the region, plus the anti-missile Patriots, military training and new equipment. This move was aimed not just at sending a message to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. More importantly, defense sources said, it was meant to calm jittery Gulf countries.
"This is all designed to deter Iran and assure our allies," one source said. "They are very worried about Iran and its nuclear program."
Mr. Ahmadinejad has threatened to destroy Israel, and his regime is widely perceived to be developing nuclear weapons.
But the sources insisted that the Gulf escalation is not a first step toward war with Iran. "That's nonsense," one source said. "No decision has been made about military programs."
A second source said that taking Iranian saboteurs captive in Iraq gives the U.S. "leverage" with Iran. Suddenly, the regime wants something from the U.S. -- the release of its people. But it is not a negotiating tool, the source said. Rather, it just shows the regime there is a cost for its meddling.
Some in the Pentagon think Iran is at war with the U.S., using Shi'ite militia proxies to attack American service members. Iran's al-Quds, a special-operations arm of the regime's Revolutionary Guards, is supplying the Iraqis with weapons, money and training, U.S. officials said.
Because war with Iran was not an option on the table, the sources said, the next best move was to begin capturing Iranians.
"I think the message that the president sent clearly is that we do not want them doing what they can to try to destabilize the situation inside Iraq," Mr. Cheney said. "We think it's very important that they keep their folks at home."

People of your mindset should be really pissed off at BUSHY he single handedly destroyed the new-cons dreams of a religious based Tali-ban like government here in the U.S. If given a chance our government would have become your way or no way.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (Jan. 21) - At least 24 Americans died in Iraq on Saturday — the third deadliest single day for U.S. troops since the war began in March 2003. That total included four soldiers and a Marine killed in the violent Anbar province whose deaths were announced Sunday.
The gunmen who killed five U.S. troops in the Shiite holy city of Karbala wore military uniforms and used vehicles commonly driven by foreign dignitaries — an apparent attempt to impersonate Americans, Iraqi officials said Sunday. Saturday's carnage also included 12 soldiers killed in a Blackhawk helicopter crash northeast of Baghdad and two slain in roadside bombings.

Bombs, Mortar Attack Kill at Least 100 in Iraq
By SINAN SALAHEDDIN

BAGHDAD, Iraq (Jan. 22) - Twin bombings Monday tore through stalls of vendors selling second-hand clothes and DVDs in a busy Baghdad market catering to Shiite Muslims during a religious festival. A market also was attacked north of the capital, and police said nearly 100 people died in the renewed campaign blamed on Sunni Muslim insurgents.
The U.S. military also reported the deaths Sunday of two Marines, raising the two-day death toll to 27 in a particularly bloody weekend for American forces in Iraq. A roadside bomb killed a U.S. soldier and wounded four others Monday in northern Iraq, it said.
Monday's first blast, a parked car bomb, hit shortly after noon in the Bab al-Sharqi market between Tayaran and Tahrir squares - one of the busiest parts of Baghdad. Seconds later, a suicide car bomber drove into the crowd.
Police estimated that each car was loaded with nearly 220 pounds of explosives.

Hey LIAR_K,

Republican Opposition to Iraq Plan Grows
By DAVID ESPO
AP
WASHINGTON (Jan. 22) - Congressional Republicans pushed back Monday against President Bush's decision to increase troop strength in Iraq , some voicing opposition while others urged holding the administration and Iraqi government more accountable for the war effort.
"We've had four other surges since we first went into Iraq," said Sen. Susan Collins, referring to the administration's plan for an additional 21,500 troops. "None of them produced a long-lasting change in the situation on the ground.
"So I am very skeptical that this surge would produce the desired outcome," said the Maine Republican .
In the Senate , Collins joined two Republicans and one Democrat to unveil nonbinding legislation expressing disagreement with Bush's plan. The president should consider "all options and alternatives" involving a smaller force, the measure said.
Thanks for the correction. I never could spell very well 2 things, first I have dyslexia, second the school system I went to was more or less run by Cornell University they tried a lame experiment in spelling.
For a few years they taught spelling not by sounding out the words but by bring a picture of the word up in our heads and spelling it that way. After just a couple years they found out it didn't work and went back to the old way of teaching.
Now back to the point I tried to make, LIAR_K would like us all to believe its only us Democrats that want out of Iraq. She seems never to deal with reality so I wanted to point out that there is a ever increasing number of republican that want out also.
BTW, We now have 3,059 Dead American Troops in Bushy's Iraq invasion up 2 since yesterday.
