Freejack

I've been wondering why their company is in California, etc., yet they say in their registeration that the principal place of business will be Nevada?

Feel better?

They are incorporated in Nevada.

I've also wondered what the Nevada Gaming Commission would think of the "raffles" and "sports pools" they have on that site.

AG2, I am curious as to why the CEO would not answer your questions tonight..care to comment on that? Maybe you were hitting to close to home for him...He never really answered a question.

LOL sorry freejack that was not my intention.

I just wanted some validation after all the times I have been flamed on that site for posting what I thought were valid questions.

I was a seller there, have almost 80 feedback accrued and had high hopes. But as I offered my opinions on matters regarding what I thought were integrity issues for the site I sort of became their nemesis.

So I just want people to know the truth. That I was not just some jerk shooting his mouth off.

And people are listening.

AG2, I still don't understand (yeah, I'm dense).

Ebay is incorporated in Delaware, I believe, but they don't list Delaware as their principal place of business (or do they?).

Both Delaware and Nevada are favorable to corporations, so a lot of companies incorporate there and then do business as a "foreign corporation" in their resident state.

What I found funny was that bidbay is leasing a bunch of property from George all over the place. They can't possibly need offices all over the place for their small staff.

OneDay in this case I guess I can only say Silence is Golden.

He was afraid to answer those questions in a public forum.

He would be afraid to come here and answer those questions under his own user ID if he could because he cannot control this forum.

If you step beyond what his limitations are on BidBay he can pull the thread...and I don't mean get personal I just mean post something he doesn't want anyone aware of...like the link to his SB2...lol

I wanted to ask George during the chat if bidbay was going to charge a listing fee sometime this year, but didn't get a chance to. Just wanted to put him on the spot regarding that.

I'm right here with you. A/W has been good to me. Bidbay left a bad taste in my mouth about a couple of issues, but this topped the cake. I closed all of my auctions there and I will find another free site. WTG Mark
