Todays laughable announcement is that Bidbay will consider making an offer to purchase the rapidy growing and successful # 2 auction site, Bidville. "The only way they can get a successful site is to buy one," one member was reported saying. Film at 11:00

I've just read the board over there but can find nothing about George stating he will make an offer for Bidville.
However I did find an interesting tidbit where he claimed to make a purchase of another site...checked it out I don't see any reference to he or BidBay owning it...and wondering if he does if that is in the SB2 filing. I don't recall seeing it there...and the beat goes on...and the beat goes on.
I will be publishing all results later.

I don't mean any offense but I'm beginning to wonder if this thread is an attempt at exposure for Bidville or BidBay.
I cannot seem to find the thread in question where they state they are going to buy Bidville.
If you could please direct me to it it would be greatly appreciated.

Finally one of the bb members posted to the ceo that he is in violation of the quiet period that comes between filing date and IPO date. Iw onder how long that post will last??? After all, who cares, the SEC is in Washington, bb is in California. They'll never notice! NOT!

I can't speak for the SEC and as to what regulations they have said been violated.
However there was a reference made to a number of regulations/laws that he referred to as "jumping the gun" laws.

I just wonder why when I visit any of eBay's chat rooms and people bash ebay that they don't censor them.
Only time I have ever seen censorship there is when someone uses foul language, a members id or email in the topic line or posts inappropriate pictures.
Why can't BidBay just know that not everyone likes their service, or company and take it just like so many others do?
We are here on auction watch's boards discussing a ludicrous statement on their part. If the owners of BidBay do not wish to be discussed then they need to quit giving us kindling to keep the flames a burning.

The only other posts I have seen censored their is ones referring people to epier.
That has been my experience...you can go on their right now and find tons of I hate eBay type postings.
