Tell me exactly what you have against Bidbay or the CEO ? What was the circumstances behind your problems that you have had at Bidbay ?

Well I'll tell you what some of my problems are with BidBay.

#1 The contests rules are vague at best with no official rules posted are teetering the lines of legality.

#2 The listing numbers there are hyped they claim over 1 million items listed one member alone represents about 500,000 of that.

#3 The CEO puts bounties out for information on people who disagree with him or post negative comments about him or his website. For example: He posted a bounty for leading to information as to who was behind the user id SEABHS here at Auction Watch. He also posted a reward for information on who the writer of auctionwatch was who had given his website a bad review.

#4 BidBay.Com is associated with individuals who have a checkered past and present to say the least as evidenced by their own admission in their SB2 filing.

#5 The implementation of the contests and opening up the bidbay buck store in effect caused "business economics interference" against the sellers of BidBay (including myself)...LOL I said "business economics interference."

#6 He has suspended my chat privileges on his website for posting a link to his very own SB2 filing calling it disruptive.

#7 And oh of course...he's also threatened me with litigation for saying these things...because I am causing "business economics interference." LMAO

And that is only the half of it.

Thanks AG2 I take back what I said in that other thread ... just had to pry a little more for an explanation

Just out of curiosity, on the bounty thing, what do you think this CEO expected to do with the information? Was he planning to put a rocket in this guy's pocket, or what? (expression courtesy of Mr. John Gotti)

If what you say is true, I suspect his problems with BidBay will be insignificant compared to his problems if anything bad ever happens to SEABHS ...

So,AG2,the reasons you've listed....BAMMM-BAMMM-BAMMMMM.....what is that noise???BAMMMM-BAMMMMM....Hmmmm....why should you be harping on issues that don't concern you?Shouldn't that be left up to active BidBayer's?BAMMMM-BAMMMMM....oh,I know what that noise is!!!BAMM-BAMM-BAMM...It's this particular subject getting beaten to death by someone!!!

Who says I'm inactive momary?

I am currently still active although I cannot participate in chat.

Do I sell there? No. Do I buy there? I have because I'm still attempting to get rid of my bogus bucks.

And these are issues that I have been stating for months now.

And I will continue to beat these issues to death...and everytime a little louder...and everytime to a new gov agency.

I would just like to say no one can honestly defend these issues. They just attack me and my vocalizing them. This is I do not understand.

I think it's "message board economics interference." LOL

Also let me throw in this little bombshell.

In the past more than once BidBay employees/agents have participated and won in the contests.

Now is that legal? Ethical?

And I have proof

Now how do you defend that?

Edited to add" and I have proof"

mrfanini, violating the quiet period is not "pulling strings", it is a crime. I don't understand what your comparison of Microsoft lying about Windows has to do with violating a quiet period.

If you are to speak intelligently about Securites law the I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the basics. I'm sure that you can find a lot of information on the web regarding this subject, so put your seasoned PI skills to work and start investigating.

By the way, is it still politically correct to call a privat investigator a Dick? Just curious.

Curiously boldersgirl, all of the posts that you have ever made on AW have been in the bb site's defense. Do you work for them? Related to anybody that does? Friends with any employees? Just curious.

I just feel that all the bashing that is done against Bidbay could be re-directed in a more positive way. Bashing and critisizing may feel good for a while but you could take that energy and put it into positive things like listings and bringing in more clients. Everyone has a point of view, not all are agreed on by others but that does not make your view point wrong. Bidbay has been a great site for me in every way. I know that there are problems but they exist in everything you do in life. If I don't agree with you do I run to Bidbay and post over there yhat you are doing this , that and the other thing. NO because it is not productive.

boldersgirl.

employees / agents of BidBay have participated and won contests on BidBay.

One won a printer...the other I will have to verify and post at a later time.

I am not saying it is currently going on now...but it did recently I might add..as well as in the deep past.

boldersgirl, everyone's entitled to their own opinion and you're certainly welcome to post yours as long as it doesn't violate AW's TOS.

auctionguard had an interesting question there, though. Are you in any way affiliated with bidbay?

regards,

Mark

Since the thread is what is your gripe with BidBay and Momaary asks why I continue with these posts is that is one of my biggest gripes with BidBay.

I have posted these complaints and they are valid complaints and valid questions regarding the ethics of running this company and the problems have not been corrected.

That is why I will continue to bang this drum.
