Billy,
How do you do with listing auctions for other people? Just curious...
46.) I have bidders change their mind about what they bid on and want me to send another product to them instead of the one they bid on.
47.) This is a laugh, I had one repeat customer that bought from me back in October that wanted to ship his item tomorrow because he told me he mailed his MO today. Don't people usually wait until they receive the money before they ship!

50)I'm not sure this can be called an irk or not, but how about those buyers who place cash in the envelope, I had a guy from United Kingdom send over $300.00 in $100.00 bills before, for a vintage military uniform that was going to a museum there..I wouldn't want to be their auditor..........
OFF TOPIC:
-Trey, we actually do very well with this concept..my wife recently in Dec. had sold her weight-loss franchise which she had been operating for the last 10 years. Since Jan. she's been home with the kids and running this business, and loving every minute of if...the consignment business early on allowed us to turn toward the counsulting side, we now teach people to do Ebay, this is what we spend the bulk of our time with now..I haven't updated the web site for quite a while, but I can say it does well for us. We sell under a couple different ID's now.
Thanks

51. Being sent e-mails with pictures and a note: "I like the widget you have on e-bay but do you have this?"
Go to the Mall, honey.
52. "I'm a size 5 ~ will this fit me?" (perhaps if you tell me which of my current 40+ auctions we're talking about I can be a bit more helpful!)
edited cause other gripers type faster than I do!

53. Email replies that have nothing to do with your email..... I sent an email to a bidder saying that I hadn't received the payment yet, could you verify that it was sent....
the reply:
Thanks for the heads up. I will let you know when the item is received and leave appropriate feedback.
What the ?????

54. Also - emails that ask Is this item new or used? When the ad clearly states new, still in box!

ok....one more
55. After the auction ends with no bids on a relatively scarce item -
Due to the number of these items available, I am willing to offer you $xx.xx (less than half value) for this item - including shipping to take it off your hands.
Sure, and I'm a complete idiot - why don't you let me get the vaseline out for our next deal?

56)
The buyer says they mailed the payment.
You say it never showed up.
They say they don't think they should have to pay again to get the item, since they already paid once.
Well, OK. But I would like to get the money before I ship the item.
57) Don't know if this one was covered, but buyers that wait until they won the item to ask a bunch of questions on it. Like they are already sorry and want to back out.
~Not barrelracer on ebay, don't pick on them!~

They say "checks in the mail" but 3 weeks later and a few emails they call you harrassing and accuse you of being poor. Yes this was a grown man on one of my auctions.
Also when you say POSTAL money orders only and you get a Rie-Aid money order.
Or, when you say NO CHECKS and the check arrives 2 weeks later. So do you keep it or hope they will send something else.

I also hate when a bidder bids the least amount possible to get rid of the BUY-IT-
NOW feature, which usually occurs as soon as the item is listed. I should just mail the dollar to Ebay.

But they haven't started charging for Buy it now yet. ?
I hate it when I get a single small auction win from a foreign country, even though I have my auctions set to USA only. (Canada has never been a problem)
There's just no way I'll make money on it, and I'll have to explain to them why I don't want them to bid again.
Every single one of them pushes the guilt button hard, telling me how much they like my work and they are soooo sorry I don't want their business.

57. FIRST TIME Buyers want you to send them your CHECKING ACCOUNT information so they do a wire transfer which would cost THE SELLER $20.
58. BUYERS WHO WANT ESCROW WHEN YOU DON'T DO ESCROW.
59.Buyers who think that they are going to get gem quality for the price of below wholesale commercial grade.
60. Buyers who want to do offline buying.
61. Buyers who don't include their name or any other means of identification in their email.

No response to my EOA notice. Wait 10 days and send 2nd notice. "I never received your first notice. Was waiting for you to contact me." Funny how these buyers never try and contact you within the 3 days.
Do your non-paying bidders seem to be NARU'd more often then before when you go to leave a neg? The last three I've had have all been NARU'd when I got there. Went to do a second notice yesterday and they were NARU'd.
Not Dragonfyree on Ebay.

Hmmm ... from this past week alone:
63. Wife bid under one ID. Husband bid on my other items, under another ID. They want to combine shipping into one package, combine their total so there's one BillPoint payment, and want me to be SURE to leave feedback for all transactions under both ID's. Sure, no problem. The package arrived. They leave me ... you guessed it ... one positive feedback under one ID only (which I'm glad for, but!!!).
64. (I had two of these!) Bidder's registered eBay e-mail address is [email protected], so of course, that's where I send the total. Bidder e-mails me from [email protected] asking what their total is, and could I please send it to this other address because they have trouble receiving mail at their registered eBay address. (So change it!!!)
I feel like I'm playing "Musical Bidders"! LOL!

65. Those of us who offer downloads or online services really don't mind lending a hand when the technical stuff gets frustrating for a buyer; but spending an hour(plus) trying to teach someone how to use their own chat software is asking a bit much.

66. The buyer wins the auction and paid for the item with Paypal using a credit card. However, she sent a different name and shipping address than the registered credit card address.
Under Paypal rules, to be protected against CC chargebacks, the seller MUST send the item to the registered credit Card address. I follow the Paypal rules to protect myself and this is what I did with delivery confirmation of course!

My biggest peeve are the emails I get after the auction ended whining that they forgot to bid, or didn't get home in time. If they had bid when they saw it, they'd have the item, and I'd have more money.

68. When a seller states he ships International and acccepts money orders and cheques, then tells his Canadian winner that it must be either PayPal or cash.
69. When a US seller states he wants $2.95 to mail a pocket book, then wants $17.00 US to mail the same book to Canada.
(oops - am I in the wrong thread?)

70. The many, many excuses why payment has not been sent, I am sympathetic, and I realize tragedies do occur, but ebay buyers are the most accident prone, sickly, job losing, dog dying, group I have ever come across. I treat each excuse as bonifide and commiserate with each calamity, but really some are really unbelieveable, these buyers are missing their calling, they should write fiction instead.
