Point taken, and allow me to say this; i'm not saying it's right OR wrong to post "checks" or "deadbeat" bidders, but what I think the originator of this thread was saying is that if it's not against the law why is Ebay not allowing the practice. They surely aren't protecting anyone, if they were they should hide everyone's feedback.
I personally wouldn't do it, that's why we have a feedback system to let each other know what kind of transaction we had with that buyer/seller.

Going barefoot is not against the law, but there are a lot of businesses that will refuse to allow you to enter their stores without shoes ( on your feet ).
As long as eBay isn't breaking any laws, they can pretty much run their business as they like, and they aren't required to justify their decision.
