Tell her to alter the sleeves to fit her tiny wrists and then use the excess material to add to the bosom area. And of course you will have to charge her extra since you didn't know about the 34D problem until after the auction closed.

Better yet, have her send her wrists and bosoms via priority mail (with delivery confirmation and insurance of course), and you will have the alterations done for her free of charge, guaranteeing a perfect fit upon ultimate delivery. Oh, and have her send her brain as well (there shouldn't be any added shipping charges).

E.Girl,

I would send her:

I am sorry you are confused on our transactions. I believe we both agreed to cancel the transactions and move since we both are not happy with the end result. Good luck to you in your future bidding! There are no questions to answer since we have both agreed to move on. Have a great week!

Probably won't work either. I also sell clothing for women. If you do not mind would you kindly forward to me her e-mail addys so that I can make sure she NEVER bids on my items. You can keep your wacko's!!

That way, if I even see her bids I can cancel due to her current neg status. I would greatly appreciate it!

dubya: LOL! Good one!

Earlier today I emailed some of her other "victims" to see if they had any advice for me on this one and here is one of the responses I just received:

She paid for her item with no problem. About 2 weeks later I got an email from her saying she wanted to return it, the wallhanging was smaller than she thought (the measurements were listed). She was so rude, telling me my work was terrible & mis-represented. If I were you, I would leave her negative feedback & apply for credit from ebay. Don't even bother with her. You can tell by her feedback, she is a crazy person. Hope all goes well for you.

EG,

Have you checked that she is not confusing your items with some others that she has bid on?

I can't get Ebay to search for completed items with "missing button" in the description... How am I going to find her?

Mivona:

If she was to be "found", then that could cause even more problems for me. For one, it could very likely show everyone who I am. No, I don't have anything to hide - but I'd prefer to remain anonymous on these boards, because I've seen with other posters what can happen when you make your ebay ID known.

Second, if she is found and someone identifies her, and was to point her to this thread, there is no telling what she would do.

All I can say, is if you are a seller, and if you have someone who bids on your auctions who currently has between 50 - 65 feedbacks, READ THE FEEDBACKS VERY CAREFULLY! Just zero in on her NEGS with the Vrane feedback tool and you'll see she's a nut. Had I not been sleeping yesterday when she placed her bids, I wouldn't be in this position right now, because I would have cancelled her bids immediately.

ExecutiveGirl: Give her a break!!
Fix the button...Hem the pants ~ making sure they are hemmed straight across! (they looked slanted in your pictures)
If she looks good in blue or red, GIVE her All your inventory in her size. Make things right!
Above all, DON'T charge Priority...just Regular shipping. As a matter of fact, for all HER troubles, you should send Free shipping.
The Customer is ALWAYS right.. besides...you want REPEAT Customers! DON'T you???

I hope she won't neg. you, but don't be shocked if she does...after all... you did NOT respond the SECOND she emailed you!!
Please get this transaction over with as soon as possible, as this customer has other auctions to bid on!

NOT!!!!!!!!!!! OHHHH how I hope she does not like anything I have listed!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously...I feel sorry for you!! I think you got some good advise on this thread about reporting her emails to her ISP & eBay.
I love reading your posts but I do feel bad you get so many "DEADBEAT" Customers!
I wish you the best EG!!

Will it ever end?? Now she has threatened me NEG feedback:

I will make a complaint to ebay as I wanted both items,I just felt you should do something about the button because I would.I won my auctions and expect to receive them.I can not believe you feel no obligation as to the button being missing.I will also be forced to leave bad feed bk. because you have not even tried to compromise.I bought the dress Knowing I would have to pay to have it took in.I did not ask you for help with that.Give me the total for both items.I want them shipped UPS or reg.mail because it is cheaper and I will take them to my tailor. You need to learn better business ethics.I would be ashamed at you whole attitude.I am single,I am trying to make money .I am single w/ an 8 year old and a 3 yr. old that is sick and mentally retarded and all you can do is complain about fixing a button you broke.I AM woman enough to get it fixed so send me your address and I will get you payment.

Please help me out here, guys.. I'm very quickly losing patience with this one!

EG--I fear you are going to get negged whether or not you complete the transaction with this whacko--there is nothing you (or anyone else for that matter) can do to make her happy. However, her wish to change YOUR shipping terms alone (putting aside for the moment her lunatic-like ravings) is cause to void the transaction. I will keep my fingers crossed that this turns out for the best.

Get firm. You will undoubtedly get a negative, but send her one more email with the TOTAL and the SHIPPING (priority) and tell her she has three choices.

1. She can pay for what she bid on, and it will be shipped in the condition the auction describes. No price reductions, no shipping changes, nothing but what you listed and she bid on. The needed repairs were clearly indicated and are minor.

2. She can refuse to pay for what she bid on and you will do the NPB and FVF stuff and she will get a black mark on her eBay record.

She's demanding and unreasonable and you don't need to cater to her. THE WORST SHE CAN DO IS LEAVE A NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ... That's not the end of the world.

I think I will pass on selling ladies clothes.......

Have a bunch, but after reading these "wonderful" stories, I don't think I want to deal with it.

Much easier to deal with men and tools.

abacaxi: Thanks for the advice. I have just emailed her a total, with Priority shipping for both items combined. I did not yet give her my mailing address though - I told her I need her address first so if she's in NY I can figure out tax. I told her once I have her mailing address I will give her mine.

This lady is REALLY beginning to scare me. That's the main reason I'm afraid to just give her my mailing address. With my luck she'll live right around the corner from me.

I also emailed Safeharbor - I copied and pasted every single email FROM HER, and every email I wrote TO HER - in order as they happened. I wish - just once - that Ebay will take the time to read and see that this lady is a loon.

[email protected] has already responded (record timing, I think!):

You are not obligated to sell below the winning bid. The winning bidder is obligated to abide by the terms of the auction. If the bidder will not pay the full price, you can request credit for your Final Value Fee from the online form found on the eBay site. When you request credit via the site you will be required to file a non paying bidder alert.

And then they basically told me how to file for my FVF's which I already know about.

I just responded to them again, saying that this bidder is telling me that if I don't sell my item to them for less than their bid, then they will give me a NEG feedback and isn't that feedback extortion?

We'll have to see what they say on that one..

This is all I responded to her:

Shipping prices were stated in my auction. I only ship by Priority Mail, and by the prices that are stated in my auction. My auction prices and my shipping prices are not negotiable.

You also failed to mail me your complete mailing address, as I had requested.

Thanks,

I've gotta turn email on for this one.

EG, let me ask you, do you REALLY think that you're going to escape a neg from this one? If you believe you are, simply neg them for ... I don't know, can you neg for utter stupidity? email them telling them that you're cancelling all auctions due to not following seller's rules and ask them to not bid on any of your other auctions, ever. Be sure to CC safeharbor. And then file FVF and ignore all further emails from them.

It's a no win situation...... best to keep things as sane as possible.

I too would like an autographed copy if you write the book. I find myself breaking out into laughter just thinking of those large ears. Don't you just love figuring out what people really mean in some of the eamil we receive.???? MORE Joyce

ExecutiveGirl;
I was just passing through when I noticed your thread. (I don't even use Ebay)

I must admit that it has been very amusing to read, though I am sure it is a headache for you.
I feel that you are in a lose, lose situation here, You are going to get negs anyhow. I would also be willing to bet from what I have read that were you to comply with all of this bidder's unreasonable terms, you would receive the items back in a few weeks along with a demand for a full refund, including the shipping, both ways, because you are such a bad seller.
If I were you, I would take the negs, file the forms and move on. Don't forget to post negs on this bidder. I would also bet that there have been others who should have, but were too intimidated by the tactics employed by this obvious maniac.
Maybe she should have the kid write the emails, and do the bidding.

Sorry EG. When I posted earlier I really thought that maybe the woman was actually retarded...for "real"...but I retract thought as of now!!

She sounds more like a real nut-case and I do feel for you...and her children!

Gosh what a sight she must be! I have never heard of anyone with her measurements!

I believe you should stick to your TOS. She knew what she was bidding on. If she knew that certain
body parts would not be compatible (spelling?) then she should not have bid!

Save me a copy of book to. I think it might be a best seller.

If you postings were actual copies of this woman's e-mails, I wouldn't want to deal with her one way or the other. She can’t construct a simple sentence, spell, use a spell check, or clearly express herself. She sounds like the buyer from hell! Personally, I would strongly encourage her to retract her bids, and I’d watch for her bids in the future and cancel them. What a ignoramus!

insightwatcher: The emails I posted were 100% her emails - misspellings and all. She did retract her other bids (on her own) and now she's threatening me NEGS for the 2 auctions that she DID win if I don't let her pay a price lower than her bid amount. I've tried everything - even letting her completely off the hook for these auctions and she insists that I let her pay what SHE wants to pay and she refuses to pay for Priority Shipping, which is the only way I ship.

Had I not been sleeping when she placed her bids & won the auctions, I would have retracted her bids immediately.

Sounds like a lady who bid on a sugar and creamer in separate auctions, she lost the bid on one of them, can't remember which now. When I emailed her the total due she just went whacko. She kept telling me that I should be ashamed because no sane person would list a matching set in different auctions and that since she lost the bid on the once piece she did not have to pay for the other. We went round and round all evening about it, she threatened to turn me into the FBI. I left her a negative and 10 days later filed a reminder to pay. She then sent me a check for the final bid price and the shipping, but told me to keep it all, just don't npd her. Could not reason with her on that either. I never did receive the retalitory I expected, maybe you will get lucky also.

Are you sure this is really happening? I have got to say this is the wackiest ebay story I have heard yet, but it is funny.

EG, if you do not yet have a P.O. Box, run, do not walk, to your nearest post office and get one (and remember to update your eBay info). Nut cases like this can get your contact info and do who knows what with it! I just hope you never get anyone like this again--and I wonder if this is the wackiest one that eBay has gotten, seeing how fast they responded to you.

Hmmm, a small wrist and a small mind....bet she'd be a lotta fun at parties.....why not let the required 7 days go by (eBay Safe Harbor Non Paying Bidder report) and then file. It's amazing how many nutjobs out there don't read the terms and conditions before registering as an eBay user, and then when it comes time to pay for items they've won, they start issuing their own "TOS" to the sellers.....lol! We've had our share of those too, so we can understand your frustration...don't worry....there's always another customer who bigger wristed customers (who also like "red"...lol!) right around the corner....btw-thanks for the yucks...this one goes down as an all time winner!

Hello Everyone. I just now signed up after months of just watching the posts. I felt I had to sign up and do my first post because I have dealt with this woman before. WOW what a nightmare. (Hense my name here) Several months ago she bought a LARGE cookie jar from me and paid quickly, we packed and sent it and about a week and a half after that she emailed me to tell me she was unhappy with the cookie jar "because cookie won't fit in the opening". What? I said my gosh what size cookies are buying? This cookie jar was approx 12" tall and 9" wide and I could fit both of my hands in the opening. (large wrists and all) She must be getting cookies the size of dinner plates. Well anyway to avoid the hassle and a headache I did not need. I told her to return the cookie jar and I would refund the money. She just threw it in a box and sent it back. Of course when it arrived here is was broken in several pieces. I emailed her and told her that it arrived broken, and she should have packed it the way it was sent to her. I refused to refund after that since no insurance was taken out on it from her. I told her do what you want. She Neg'd me of course. I responded to my neg, but failed to neg her. I wish I would have. I know what you are going thru EG. I feel for you I really do. Good Luck.

For serious, Drivingmetodrink?

How do you know it is the same woman? Because of the emails? or her wrist size?

With such tiny wrists, how on earth can you expect her to pack something properly? The added weight would have finished them off!
