Fallen_Madonna: I'm so sorry to hear about your accident! I'm also glad that my "horror stories" can bring you some laughter! As long as I'm a seller on ebay, I'm afraid the horror stories will continue! LOL!
After this nutcase story, I'm hoping it will be a while before I have to worry about another one - but with my luck (and you all know my luck) - trouble is probably right around the corner!

ascorti,
You are very astute. That old thread rang a bell for a reason. Your post of posted on March 11, 2001 02:05:49 PM hit the nail on the head!
This seller has used so much information in this thread, (and other threads posted by the same user) that it was not hard to identify the seller and the high bidder in question.
I agree the buyer should be invited. WE are only hearing one side of the story, and the buyer really deserves to be informed.

ExecutiveGirl - Am I glad she likes your clothes and not mine. When i say she I mean HE.
From reading those emails and the words "SHE" uses. This is not a woman but a man you are dealing with. I give this as a expert analysis of the words and phrases this person uses. Women out of work do not have a seamstress. If she has only been out of work for 16 months, what happened to all the other professional clothes she had when she worked.
We women keep our clothes for a long time, even if they don't fit. We women do not talk like this.
I could go on, but you get the idea.
Get far away from this nut.

EG-Have you noticed how much better her spelling and grammer became the more she wrote to you? I have a feeling she was trying to play you by making you feel sorry for her..."Oh this poor, uneducated woman...with a retarded son"..."I'll have to cut her a deal since she has it so rough". Get your fees back! Most people that have handicapped children are not going to advertise that fact to a complete stranger. "If" this woman is just trying to play on peoples sympathies she should be ASHAMED of herself!!!!

EG,
this sounds like a seller I dealt with on yahoo. I bought some kids clothes from her several months ago and never received them. She sent me all kinds of nasty email. Total fruitcake. She has several accounts on yahoo and ebay.

joyce: I agree with you, that the buyer should not be invited to this thread - you can tell just by her emails that she is very "unstable" and could cause many more problems. The only ones who want her invited are the ones who love trouble
sissyclarke: I never thought of this seller as being a "HE". I still can't really picture all these emails being from a guy. Why would HE have bid on all these women's clothing? The other people I have talked to about this bidder/seller has also said she was a "she"... but I guess you never really do know!
salijo: I was just told by someone else this morning who knows all about this transaction that they think this person was "playing dumb"... because she can't spell, has REALLY bad grammar... but yet she knows how to sell on ebay, and knows things that you wouldn't think she would know...so I think you may have something there! And if that's the case - I agree with you - she SHOULD be very ashamed of herself!

EG, were you the seller involved with the bidder who bought a doll . . . and there was some complaint or request about the doll's shoes or lack thereof, and how she was being accepted into her doll community . . . ..
Sounds like it could be the same buyer at any rate . . . .

Everyone,
It appears there is enough information in this thread and in archived threads that can be accessed through a site search to identify both the buyer and the seller.
I'm sorry, but I am going to have to lock this thread. There is simply too much identifying information for the discussion to continue unless an invitation is issued to the buyer.
