Well, folks, that was your Friday night 'fun'. You all did a great appraisal job, especially the gentleman who gave the Sotheby's-style rundown on the materials, value, settings, etc. Almost PMP on that one.
Anyway, those o' ya who guessed pendant were close. It's a 'charm' (as in charm bracelet) and I'll try to describe it without giving the identity away....

Yes, it actually got bids. Let's hope the seller takes the money and puts it into the Sony Mavica fund.

I hate to admit it but it's a good, clear, sharp focused picture of me looking at my tongue in the mirror on Sunday morning after a GREAT Saturday night. Go look at it again. It's so obvious.
