Now I get:
An Internal Error has occurred
Please try again. If this message persists please report this problem to Customer Support.
I wonder how many different error messages I can get? Could this be my new eBay hobby?

I have lots of auctions ending today (bummer!).
When I tried to do a seller search on my ID, the auction numbers came up, but the rest of the table was filled in with $0 for bids and "information unavailable" for the titles of the auctions. Novel, but not really helpful in a "sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach" kind of way.
When I tried to go to the eBay Discuss New Features Board (where this type of stuff usually gets reported first), I got the dreaded "this functionality is unavailable" message.
eBay Announcement Board doesn't have anything up regarding these problems. The last message posted claims all functionalities are available. NOT!!!

Well, the front page, site map, menu,
and announcement board still work, but
everything else seems to be down, including
all the discussion boards ...

Well, I went to dictionary.com and typed in
"functionality"
and here is their reply:
func·tion·al (fngksh-nl)
adj.
Of or relating to a function.
Of, relating to, or indicating a mathematical function or functions.
Designed for or adapted to a particular function or use: functional architecture.
Capable of performing; operative: a functional set of brakes.
Pathology. Involving functions rather than a physiological or structural cause.
function·ali·ty (-sh-nl-t) n.
function·al·ly adv.
So I suppose that functionality really is a word afterall -

The good news is... if this error was not a "planned" outage by Ebay where they are updating something, and if it last over so many hours, AND your auctions are ending during that time, they will post your auctions for another 24 hours automatically. The bad news is that if your auctions are ending right after the "outage" or the next day, you are screwed. Can you tell this happens just a little too often? I think we need to suggest that Ebay UPDATE their policies on how and when they automatically give you more time. They should make it a little more fair and not so much like a lottery.

Ketzel, all the static stuff might just be in your cache. All the LIVE data has gone missing, near as I can tell.

I discovered ebay was down when I went to add pictures to my auctions. Guess I will try again tomorrow. Om the up side I did have a really good price on a dutch auction that should end in about 2 minutes. I am left wondering what is going on with that auction.

***System Status***
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. The Feedback Forum and Seller Search are unavailable. We are evaluating the situation, and will inform you as soon as possible when the situation will be resolved. Thank you for your patience.
Regards,
eBay
Ummm, well thanks eBay, but I hate to tell you that more than these two areas are down --but unfortunately for all of you who have auctions ending tonight, the entire site is apparently NOT down ... I tried a search on Pokemon, and the first two auctions I tried to pull I could not get in to, but the third one I could get into and was able to place a bid, so this will not be called a "hard outage" no matter how long it lasts ...
such a bummer ...

Well, I had hope there for a minute --
it did pull my auctions under "seller search"
but then the next time I tried it was back to 'An Internal Error has occurred'.
The Discussion Boards appear to be back, however.

"The Discussion Boards appear to be back, however".
Of Course, eBay always brings those back up first, that is so we can all get in to gripe and moan; then we won't go somewhere else and list or buy.
We will just read the boards until they get it together and then we will all list again. Then it will happen again and again.
I am going to start listing or buying somewhere else the whole time eBay is down. If everyone would do that some other site might step up and give eBay a run for their money.
It can't be MY "fault", I've NEVER owned a "fault"!

Broken in Western Canada too. But, in "defence" of eBay, I am finding a few other sites today that aren't working the way they are supposed to either (i.e Hotmail is working, but very slowly).
