Greetings !
Regarding the Mr Bubble Tshirt.. my daughter got one (though I will admit it doesn't look as authentic as the one the back o'the box will get ya') from Spencer Gifts, if that's any help?

jenado, let's hope our Shy Mr. Bubble Person will check it out! We have a Spencer Gifts nearby, maybe I'll see if I can find one. I love to give gifts.
SPEAKING of gifts.....I'm wearing VeryModern's dark blue booties right now, and they are fabulous. My feet are warmer than they have been since summer. I don't know if anyone else ever had this problem, but when I started smoking, my circulation got sluggish and my feet and hands were always cold. Even though I have not smoked in years I still always have cold feet and hands. I asked my doctor and he said to exercise more. I think I prefer the Booties treatment.

KIHEICAT:
I live in the heart of Amish Country and the Amish made Apple Butter is in abundance! Send me your mailing address (at: [email protected]) and I will get some out to you. Warning!!! Once you've tried it, you are going to want their Black Rasberry Jam, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Apple Dumplings, Maple Syrup, etc., etc. My expanding waistline will attest to lure of Amish cooking!

Bearmom, how tall are you? My guy is 6 foot 1 and around a size 50...we could probably come up with some "giant" t-shirts for you...

****NEWSFLASH: MR. BUBBLE FOUND******
I'm pleased to announce that Mr. Shy has found himself a Mr. Bubble t-shirt and he asks me to thank the person who recommended Spencer Gifts. Yet another Happy Camper due to the generosity of spirit of the Round Table Gang.
In the meantime, having got my booties, I have to say I'd like a President for Christmas. Please!

Anybody remember the Ronald Reagan poster where he's posed in front of a cock, and the text says "We begin bombing in five minutes."? (RE: his infamous comment on an open mike about Russia.) I had one of these and lost it in a move. I'd love to have another one, would be happy to pay for it. Anybody have one?

Bearmom,
I am 6'0" (female), and I don't have a giant guy for hand-me-downs either. I did find a giant T-shirt from Hanes, though. It's listed as a "one size" but feels like about a 4X men's, and it comes down to MY knees.
and if that doesn't work, try a Land's End men's t-shirt in Extra Tall (up to size 2X). They are extremely soft and comfortable, but they only come to mid-thigh on me.

Ubie, That sounds like Sen-Sen.They came in a tin and tasted sort of like licorice with a weird after taste.

And, if you want to buy some Sen-Sen (or other old-fashioned stuff), here's a great place to do it:

Nope, not Sen-Sen. I know what you're talking about, ubie - can even feel one of 'em in my mouth if I think hard enough. But damned if I can remember what they're called or where to get 'em....although as I recall from my cosmopolitan days, high-end tobacconists, the kind of shop with a walk-in humidor, are always a good source.

I finally found what I've been wanting forever -- a Charlie the Hamster record. However, my mother SWEARS she had a copy of a book called the high cockalorem of kerfosalem (not sure about the spelling). It was a kids book from the 1950s about a stuck up rooster. Anyway, does anyone know where I might be able to find a copy -- even a copy in very poor condition. I say it doesn't exist, but she says it does. My Grandpa was a great storyteller, and I think its something he made up, but she says she remembers it as a book. Can anyone help?
Anyone want a knitted hat with beer cans? I see those at garage sales several times a summer.

I haven't thought about those things in years, but I just ordered a bunch. In my search, I did find the manufacturer's website which stated they've been around for 75 years.

***NEW IDEA FOR CHRISTMAS SWAP***
Let's throw a new twist in this. Everyone must have *something* that despite multiple auction tries, hasn't made it out the door. I have a couple myself. I'm going to list them and if anyone wants them, they will be my Christmas present to you. Since I sell books, that's what I have. First one to post gets them. They have all been listed at least twice.
Here goes:
1) Vintage Guidebook and Map to Olde Williamsburg Virginia. Like new condition. Tons of details on the historic houses of Williamsburg.
2) Vintage Pocket Size picture book of Florence, Italy. Tons of black and white and color pictures. Some wear and tear, nothing significant.
3) Russia in the Era of Peter the Great. Softcover, 1969, good used condition.
Someone please take these puppies off my hands!!!
I did have a book of Planning Your Lesbian Wedding/Rituals/Commitment Ceremonies that was auctioned thrice with deadbeat bidders the first two times. I thought that the third was going to deadbeat as well, but thank goodness the money order finally showed up.

Can anyone find a good home for these cuties?...They desperately want someone to take 'em home for the holidays!...I will pay for shippin'....They are not perfect, but I don't have the heart to toss 'em.....
First up, is this cute little kitty...He's (she's? it's sooo hard to tell!) actually a Franklin Mint piece entitled "Captivated" c 1985...There is supposed to be a butterfly (I believe) on the end of the branch, but it seems to have taken flight.....
These poor little medical angels have really been hurt over the years...They appear to be real oldies...Ok, so you can't mend their breaks, but you could mend their hearts just by givin' 'em a little space on the shelf.....
Any takers pls email me at [email protected], & I'll get 'em right out to ya!.....
