Pareau, My garden is almost asleep for the season. I tiptoed out and quietly gave it your regards. It seemed to hear and nodded in reply [with the help of a breeze]. Ice on the pond that doesn't melt all day. Still a few leaves on the Japanese maples, a few flowers struggling along. I love this time of year when the garden is quiet and nearly barren. The shapes of the trees in the landscape, all nude,sap not running.Everything waiting patiently to wake up in the spring.....I love it!
