Not trying to be sarcastic. This is a real question. Why are people so anal about spam? What is the big deal? It takes half a second to delete it and if it PERTAINS TO AN INTEREST OF YOURS then why would you be upset? Seems like the whole spam issue is just so people have something to protest about.

Note that I am not talking about mass emails of a million per day. That obviously takes its toll on servers and could cause problems. I am talking about sending out some targeted announcements as described abpove or even ones that promote your own site. Why does it bother you? Seriopus answers only please. I don't want to hear anything about Spam kills babies.

I like their interface and the fact that they have listened to sellers and made changes based upon it...They also plan to add a picture gallery soon...
I have listed for about 3 weeks now and have noticed an increase in number of page views but have yet to have a bid. I think most of the traffic their are other sellers who sometimes buy...we must find a way to bring buyers there to browse and buy!

I do not like the "pop up" advertising window that sometimes pops up when logging on and am concerned about their server's ability to withstand the major surge in listings.

I really want them to work...but patience does not pay the bills......

I moved a lot of my yahoo auctions to BidVille and had several sales.(2 weeks ago, nothing after that ) The only drawback: no bulkloader. Can't wait for that to happen!!
Traffic could pick up, too, but that will come with time.

Bidville is great in my opinion. Have sung its praises before and will continue to do so hopefully. Biggest problem right now is exposure. Not many know it's there yet. That's to be expected. It's also up to all of us to see that the word gets out and they shoppers are brought into the site. So everyone get to work bringing in the shoppers.

I have seen massive improvements with bidville since January 9. I have found that customer service responds quickly. It is easy to use. Love directly uploading pictures. Has counters. Since I was moving from Yahoo I started listing and have even got some bids and sold items. The only downfall I see is not being able to blacklist a nonpaying bidder but they say they are working on it.
