I learned that I should pay more attention and find out about FLD more than 3 hours before it ends.

I learned that Giving AW auction listing whatever its called is unreliable for my 2 item test batch. They made it under the buzzer but the floating hang made me nervous enough to run to ebays listing screen

I learned that I can make 30 listings in 2 hours off the ebay screen.

I learned that if you frantically chain-smoke while listing you go to bed with a head ache and wake up with sore lungs and throat.

I learned that I finally need to get off my butt and use some sort of listing software.

I learned that I should notify my boyfriend in advance that i'll be frantically chain-smoking/listing for the next 3 hours and that it might not be a good idea to talk/look/bother me until 3 am EST.

I learned that this frantic push brought me out of my burn out slump and that I need to get back on track with my auctions in general.

I'm still learning after FLD......

eBay can handle 2.5 million ++ lists a day.

IPIX cannot handle its small fraction for the above.

Searching the newly listed is only working for Titles
What a task to fully update, which probably couldn't restart until after scheduled maintenance downtime.

Who has searched to-day and found just how many of their "rare" items are now listed?

How many opportunists will quickly list similar items for 3,5,7 days with attractive "Buy it Now" terms?

Thank-you eBay, well done.

PS Please don't crash 5 7 or 10 days on....

I've used Mr. Lister for quite a while. It is a real time-saver and makes listing very easy. If you list a lot of auctions, this is a must have.

Here's the link:

Like another poster said above, if you upload the same collections over and over again, be sure to check your inventory and delete items from the ML collection that are no longer available.

Title searches for....

RARE 164,256 items

HOT 56, 275 items

HTF 5,510 items

RARE, HOT & HTF only 9!

Looks like there is a big opening for more listings that include RARE, HOT & HTF.......

.....I better get busy!

And I will be out sniping on FLD auctions. Too many sellers and not enough buyers. Got some great deals on a recent UK FLD!

Eventer - I think that, on days like this when I'm feeling kinda depressed about life in general, I'll just follow you around and read your posts!

Thanks so much for big laughs! You remind me of Erma B!

Plus we saw that word of mouth can spread like wildfire! Viral marketing! The eBay free listing day wasn't well publicized except on these boards >>

I for one didn't find out about it on these boards but on other message boards. As soon as it went up it was posted ALLLL over the net and everyone was sending e-mails etc. . . and all over a variety of message boards from the auctions sites to the freebie message boards. That is where I found out about it. Those freebie boards all over the net can really get the word out and they did. I am glad because otherwise I would have missed it.

why not try mr.lister it's free you can set up templates and its sure a lot easier than listing directly off ebays site. >>

I have never used mister lister but I used and use auctionsubmit another free program. I was able to do my auctions without a glitch. It is a great little program that made my life so much easier. I used to just do it the old fashion way then I Used to use the services here and at goto they were okay. Hands down especially for big listing days auction submit is the best so far.

I am going to start in my free time getting some ready for the next one in December. Can never think to far ahead ; )

That installing a new monitor is pretty easy and that I can go 40 hours without sleep and live to tell about it.

I got up at 11am on 6/27 and had put in 13 hours work - a normal day - when I got the message about free listing day. I began to prepare for it and started listing at 3am my time when free listing day started. I kept listing and listing. at 6:30 pm on 6/28 my monitor quit and smoke started rolling out the back of it. Fire extinguished it took it ouside and took it apart. The Picture tube had "imploded" apparently a safety feature. Went to Best Buy, got a new one, plug and play, took 5 minutes to hook up and went back at it. Despite the delay I got over 1300 listed between 2 ids.

Whats so great about a free listing day anyway. I remember all the talk when ebay raised their listings from 25 cents to 30 cents. Many said its only a nickle. So why is a free listing day now so important. It's only a bunch of nickles isn't it.

no, it's only a bunch of $0.30, which adds up fast.

I can't imagine anyone other than eBay employees saying "its only a nickle"

I would never say that. I screamed when I saw that nickle
