maybe twinsofts problem at this time is that he has ran the same 10 dutch auction to long.

I think for the most part some items attract deadbeats more then others do as well.

I have been doing these auctions since 99 and when I frist started I was selling collectable cards sports cards, pokemon, pop star cards, posters and other like items.

I was getting from 3 to 7 deadbeats before I actually sold each item that is not a story its fact.

My brother was selling at the same time he was selling old glass depression and carnival , old rosery beads and to me what looked to be old rusty cans and such and was makeing from $200 to $700 a week not on ebay but on yahoo back then.

Last may I decided I would give online auction another chance only This time I changed what I was selling set up an ebay account and the dead beats on both yahoo and ebay just stopped not trying to brag I am great full I have not had a dead beat in over 500 sales.

I have had a couple questionable buyer who I decided to refund because they claimed item didn't arrive but no deadbeats.

Now another case last fall my brother decided to stop his online selling new baby and all not enough time to keep going on , SO he decided to let me sell off his remaining inventory.

I listed the Items he had made so much money on over his time selling on auction , I listed the item side by side with my items , He ended up selling off the better part of his inventory at a yard sales this summer the items he made thousands on I couldn't get bids for.

I have in the last year became well Know in the category I sell in, people I have never sold to or heard of before Write me and ask if I would find or if I have the paticular Item they have been looking for , for many years.

keziak

Actually I have a system for relisting in the category I sell in my Item for the most part are not high cost and I find many usually need to be relisted.

When I relist I ajust the price upword from .25 to $1 each time believe it or not the higher the starting bid moves the fast the item is bid on not sure why that is.

last week I list an item for $3.75 this week I listed it for $5.00 it was bined 65 mins after it was listed for $5 ..

Dman, that's interesting about your brother's inventory. Any ideas why they sold well for him, but not for you?
