No disrespect intended but I would NEVER invest in this sort of software. These days’s bids are few and far between on eBay in a lot of categories, not all but most. Numbers are down and it takes more listings to achieve the same level of sales from just one or two years ago.
I never understood the mentally behind sellers not liking people who snip. My attitude is with 10 seconds left in an auction it’s pretty much over. You got what you see unless someone can manually manage to get in a last minute and bid. The way the Internet is slow sometimes it is difficult at best to try and sneak in manually during the last few seconds of an auction. Maybe it is easier if you have DSL however even then it isn’t foolproof. I know because I’ve been there, and done that and missed out. So if a snipe program can help that last minute or last few seconds of bidding FANTASTIC. My take is if it wasn’t for the last minute snipe my auction would have closed for less money. That person who managed to snipe during the last 10 seconds added a little extra to the auction. They certainly didn’t hurt my auction or hinder it in anyway.
It is my opinion that the days of listing an auction where bidding starts right away and continues non-stop through out the process is pretty much gone. Sure there will always be some auctions like that but for me at least I see more and more no bids practically up to the last day or last minutes of my auctions. I have to list more items to sell just to stay at a certain level of sales that a year ago or more was achieved with less listing and a lot more bids.
I might be wrong but I'll take all the last minute bids I can get.
