As I just posted on another thread - this is a direct quote from MSN, regarding eBay's intend for the "Auctions for America" auctions.
The Internet auction site eBay said its "Auction for America" would raise $100 million in relief funds from its 34 million registered users buying and selling goods to raise money for charity. The eBay Foundation chipped in the first $1 million. Tonight Show host Jay Leno is auctioning off a prized Harley-Davidson motorcycle signed by actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
If eBay intends to push these auctions to this point, good luck on your holiday sales. Sure glad I am no longer dependent on eBay.
This is eBay PR run amuck, and at their sellers cost.
I am ALL for donating to the cause created by this horror perpetrated on our country – but I think it should be decided by each person when and how to donate – and I see this move by eBay as just more PR – and at the sellers expense!

Who are the independent auditors monitoring these auctions? Please check out the trustees of www.wtcfund.org.uk Where would you trust your hard earned cash?
