Thanks, Ellis747!
Do you think I am correct in why it is still selling?
I'm open to ideas ~
my analysis could be off base
(in which case it really wouldn't be helpful to other sellers looking for insight!)

Sorry, Pocono!
I thought you knew me by now!
BTW, watch those 4 letter words, wouldja?
(hope you got it this time)
(edited to remove identifying info per AW guidelines)
remember when I used to post here under that name?
Okay, guess not.
My feelings aren't hurt.
Not Much .
*sigh*

We're finding business half-way decent, but not great. If history proves itself again, activity will be picking up considerably as we approach the holiday season.
The A4A auctions might account a bit for the moderate business right now, but I do not think it can be fully blamed for the current business environment. The truth is that a whole lot of people are now out of work, and that in itself, accounts for much of the retail slowdown.
We earmarked $1,000.00 for the A4A fundraising campaign. We are finding that bidders are opening their hearts and pockets for these listings and we are getting very high closing bids for theses auctions. We surpassed over $500.00 the first 7 days of listings and will most likely be running A4A listings only for another week or so, until our $1,000.00 earmark is reached. If other sellers are experiencing the same success, I suspect that the A4A listings, at least for indiviudal sellers, will be tapering off in the coming weeks. We're hoping to experience a wonderful holiday selling season this year, as we have in the past and wish you all the best of luck.

I thought about it some more.
Historically, about 10-20% of my bidders are from NY.
For the past two weeks, that has dropped to about 5%. California sales have dropped a bit, too.
Not sure if that helps anyone or even what it means.
As I stated, my sales are great right now. Just info there to be analyzed, I guess!
