Can anyone tell me if you have had problems of this type and if you know what to do, and if you were reversed. I'm dumbfounded. I have had no problems, no complaints, etc. I had 60 some active auctions, and have more than 1000 positives, most of which I have gathered in the last 10 months as a person who does a decent business on ebay.

Please let me know if you have any idea of any way I can get any more information on an unfounded suspension???

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

(oh, Safe Harbor doesn't respond either)

Humming along quite nicely in fact. Never had a Non Paying Bidder filed on me. Have had 9 negatives over a period of 3 years, and have had no un-resolved problems with sellers or buyers. I have no explanation from ebay is my main complaint. If they would just tell me why ???

My account is in good standing, and I thought it was perfect!

What type of auctions were you running? Could it be because of copyright infringements?

You mean Ebay has phones??? ... lol

I would LOVE a phone number for them, and if you have one I would much appreciate it. Thanks so much !

You know ... when you work so very hard to keep your name good and your nose clean and something like this happens, it's so disheartening ... and disappointing.

thanks !

Good luck, hope you get things straight. This is the biggest single thing that bothers me about ebay. I have heard your story before. I can't conceive why in the world there can't be more of a warning or more emails. Seems that the system(program) acts on its own sometimes. Perhaps even ebay personnel don't know why? Anyway, let us know. Dave.

So you are in Texas. ARe you the seller whose auction closed on 9/8, then PROMISED me that my item shipped 10/1? If so, then you have bigger problems than an eBay suspension.

Valleygirl? why don't you email me at [email protected] and tell me the real name you are on ebay and your item # ... if this is the case, I will be happy to discuss with you there ... I hope that the incident you are referring to isn't me ... but if it is, let's make it right.

I've never failed to deliver an auction, with the exception of one package going to Canada that never arrived.

Email me.

I called the number you provided me with, and they told me they have no idea, but will further investigate and 'get back to me.'

I hope they do, cause I worked very hard for my good reputation on ebay and am very disappointed.

I'm amazed! I'm not sure whether I am more amazed over the fact that they have no idea, or whether you actually expected a reason to be forthcoming. Don't those morons have a database to find out what's the status of a member and why?

I have endured some remarkably stupid behavior from major Internet firms. It's really pathetic because these are often the same folks who wonder why there are so many dot bombs out there.

Hopefully this will turn out ok and they will reinstate you. Hang in there.

Well, I am an optimist, and I believe that everyone has the best of intentions and I am one of those who believes the best instead of the worst, until I am totally proven to be an idiot! lol

They will surely tell me why ! ... won't they ??? ... I had 1088 positives, 700 of which were garnered in the last 10 months. I'm just so hurt! It's like someone has fired me !

Ty for your help everyone.

Grumpy: I could write a book about the bad day I had today.

I have a seller in TX who claims to have shipped my item on 10-1, even though I paid on 9-15. I still don't have my item a month later.

Then I had a bidder who ignored all emails, so I file FVF credit, she gets Naru'd and emails me today, wanting her item. Which was resold already.

I won't bore you with the story about my elderly, whining, manipulative mother-in-law.

No, Valleygirl! lol ... I sell lingerie and plus sized clothing! lol whew !!! I didn't recall any transaction that I had had problems with ... and I'm surely glad it wasn't with you ... you seem like one tough cookie!!!

I'm still waiting for my 'explanation' from ebay. In the meantime, I look at this mountain of stuff I have yet to list, and wonder ... if I should just have a garage sale and quit or call Salvation Army to come get it. I am so upset ... This was the only way I could stay at home in the evenings and still support my 3 grandsons that I took custody of. This was the enabler for me to not have to go on assistance. I just am so depressed, and so upset ... This is so unfair.

I've done nothing that I can think of that would cause this suspension. Most of the afternoon I spent going over every inch of the ebay bible and I found nothing that applied to me that would warrant suspension.

Keep your fingers crossed folks ... Thanks.

Hey ValleyGirl ... WHEW again !

ValleyGirl: I have had a stinky day myself.

A fairly new neighbor threatened my cats. My lady says that means war. She is ugly when crossed. I feel real bad for our neighbor...

Paypal is being uncooperative and I have toothache.

NARU=not a registered user. On ebay, anyway.

There's got to be a reason for your suspension. Maybe another misbehaving seller with a similiar id to yours? Someone could have turned you in for selling lingerie if it's used? Or maybe ebay didn't get your monthly fees?

Used and new lingerie, but the used is ALWAYS laundered and never stained! I wouldn't buy something like that and I won't sell it either.

I mainly sell bras, and they're mostly ones I guy from Ebay sellers in bulk and and then sell in smaller quantities.

I paid my fees on the 8th with my PayPal debit card, just as usual. ...

It HAS to be an error ... but heck, they won't communicate with me so ... I wait.

You guys are great ! thanks !

I was suspened a couple of months ago, I posted this on the ebay cafe boards and was re-instated the next day....

I was suspended this past Saturday because according to ebay my email was invalid. This suspension happened because ebay (safeharbor) had a complaint against me from a seller that had ripped ME off. Safeharbor says 2 emails they sent me "bounced", even though the emails informing me of the suspension went through (along with the 12 emails ending my auctions and cancelling my bids). They said they called and the phone was busy (it would be since I was on the net). I emailed at least 10 different address on ebay to no avail, I even called the 1-800 number (which I will not post in fear of another suspension, it is on your credit card statement). I then went to my mom's account and started posting on the help boards that I needed some help. The next morning someone from safeharbor read the post and finally reinstated my acoount (after I answer all of my emails from him). Today I get a call from ebay that this was my fault. I called my ISP yesterday and I have no blocks of any sort on my email account. I was told by the person that called me today that it very well could happen again and there was nothing they could do. I am a powerseller (which means nothing) and I have 1490+ feedback (which according to the person I talked to today also means nothing). Tonight my mom gets an email stating that letting me use her account could get HER suspended. My question to the wise people at ebay is "how in God's name do we get hold of a LIVE person when something like this happens?" I really do not expect an answer, I just miss the days when ebay actually gave a crap about its users and you could reach someone with a pulse and a little common sense....

I was once suspended, for shilling or something like that. It took about 4 days to get straightned out with ebay. It turned out someone with a user name extremely similar to mine was doing this. I plead my case DAILY and did not drop it with ebay, which I think is the only real reason they straightened out THEIR mistake. They reinstated me, but what a pain, I had to relist auctions and make sure I was credited for ones they cancelled on me. Hang in there, get it straightened out and all will be okay.

I have never felt so helpless...

Thank you ALL for your suggestions, kind words, support and comments. I WILL email them and call them and pester them daily and hourly and by the quarter-hour until they get me reinstated.

I have paid them a fortune over the years ... and I deserve at least an answer on WHY!

Could it be your credit card? I forgot to update mine once-same card and # just new expiration date and they suspended my account until I sent in the new one.
