Well.... The original seller just sent me an e-mail, and is going to send me the regular German Kinder eggs via USPS express mail. To make up for them not being "lord of the rings" eggs, he's including some duplicate figures he had. All in all... it looks like it might work out okay!
I really do appreciate all the time and effort a lot of you have gone through to help me out in this. I think I may still try to follow up on some of professorhiggins & sjl1017's leads. If I've learned one thing from all this, it's "don't put all your eggs in one basket".... literaly!
I'll make sure to drop back by this thread and let you all know how things work out! I truly can't begin to tell you all how wonderful you are to help me out with this. If my proposal works as planned, I certainly have many people here to thank for it! You all are the best!

Hey all! Just thought I'd let you all know that everything worked out great! The original seller pulled through and sent the kinder eggs through express mail as promised (he spent almost $20.00 to do it.... MUCH more than he charged me for shipping). And.... of course.... what you've all been waiting to hear..... she said YES! All the planning was well worth it! Thanks again to everyone here who helped me out! Anyhow... gotta go... lots of wedding plans to attend to now!

Is the seller's name "Disney"? They were having those shipping problems in December, on ebay.
Seller's dropshipper may have had the items in stock at the time you won, not his fault if it later sold out. It happens. No proof he violated any ebay rules, but he is required to refund your money if he can't get it to you within a month.

My sister's husband proposed to her using a Kinder Egg. That was over 3 years ago, and they just had their first child!
They were given a case of Kinder Eggs as a wedding gift, and are now thoroughly sick of Kinder chocolate!
