Fear is one of the strongest emotions there is and you my friend are caught firmly in its grip. But let me put your little mind at ease, blacks are not going to take over the world, yours or anyone else's.

And with that I have done all I can for you, your hour is up and my bill is in the mail. You can pick up your prescription at the nurses desk...

You haven't been accurate yet in anything you've said, and have just tried to sidetrack the subject. The Status Quo is very clever. I have to hand you that, unfortunately for you, I know your game.

Discrimination makes America worse. Less qualified persons doing the work of the more qualified causes less effiency and higher prices. Notice the huge price increases at the PO lately?

That's odd I thought the increase was caused by bad management (by whites), and billions spent on anthrax related security costs.

I'm going to let you go back to preaching to the choir now. So by all means continue to infect every shipping thread with your racist rants about how "the blacks" are ruining the country. I'm certain that you will go comfortably unchallenged from now on.

Enjoy the silence of the lambs.

"your racist rants about how "the blacks" are ruining the country."

Stupid morons like you are ruining the country. I didn't say blacks are ruining the country. Lesser qualified minorities who get hired simply for the color of their skin is ILLEGAL. If that is racist to be against discrimination, why are their EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT laws? Apparently, Congress felt a need to have everybody to have the same chance to be hired. According to your logic, Congress is racist! You've been laughed off the pulpit, so sit down and shut up.

"Stupid morons..."
"...a need to have everybody to have..."

Clearly you're a gentleman and a scholar, but allow me to disabuse you of one notion. Equal Opportunity Employment Laws were brought about by the social unrest of minorities that were/are tired of the roadblocks placed in front of them by people like yourself that would like see their opportunities limited to narrow percentages or worse yet none at all. Trust me on this EEO laws never sprang from the innate goodness of Congress' collective hearts or the awful oppression that the white man has suffered in this country.

I thought I could leave you to your own devices but you are simply irresistible.

Now I have an editor. Great, and he's free. I love it.

Yes, Congress felt everyone should have Equal Opportunty and not be discriminated against. I already said that. Two wrongs don't make a right.

What a simple and magical world you must live in where Congress enacts laws in order to do the right thing. EEO laws were adopted grudgingly much like the way minorities are generally hired. Most predominately white employers would rather have employees that look like themselves so they certainly aren't going to suffer the hiring of large numbers of incompetent minorities. Therefore the crux of your argument must be that all or most minority (black) candidates for employment are incompetent so there is little else to choose from and therefore the economy suffers.

It seems to me that the economy has been most adversely affected by such things as S&L scandals, the dot com bust, corporate accounting irregularities, terrorism, shifting jobs overseas, etc. which fall squarely in the lap of people that look like you (only smarter, richer, and more powerful).

Since posters are offering up anecdotes about their experiences with postal workers let me add mine. In my large but small-minded city the vast majority of the postal workers are white yet they seem to have no problem maintaining an impressive level of sloth and incompetence. Even the veteran workers seem woefully unfamiliar USPS products and services and don't get me started on the spotty mail delivery. How does this fit into your conclusion that the overemployment of minorities is the cause of the rate increase?

Btw, since "minority" is just your code for "black" (given the anecdotes you've related) why don't you just say that? At least have the courage of your convictions, there's no point in trying to maintain a veneer of equity or reason now.
