WHOS MONEY IT WAS WOULD NEVER EVEN CROSS THE CASHIERS MIND,,,AND DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD YELLED OUT, PIT BOSS!!! $60.00!! OR RAN IT RIGHT OVER TO THE DONATIONS BOX! HAHAHAHAHHA.
NOW IF YOU HAD OF WALKED UP TO THE COUNTER AND SAID,,THE BOOK HAS $60.00 IN ALSO,,,WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO THE SIXTY? OH! EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE BOOK IS $1.95. HAVE A NICE DAY. YEAH.
AND,,,,,HAD THE CLERK OF OPENED THE BOOK,,,,YOU WOULD IN NO WAY OF GOTTEN THE MONEY. IT WAS STILL NOT YOURS TILL THE $1.95 WAS IN THEIR HANDS. AND THAT IS REALLY NOT FOR CERTAIN...YOUR STILL ON THIER PROPERY! THOSE DONATION TYPE FOLKS ARE REAL GREEDY WITH OTHERS THINGS. TO THEM, IT'S ALL FREE

Well good idea sparkz....only I wouldn't or couldn't go back in for a long while because I would just know they somehow knew I found and took the money. Shoot they might make me give it back!!!! HA!HA! Although if I bought the book I feel like I'm just as entitled to it as anyone working in that place.

Maybe you should go back to the shop and check the book again...maybe its a 'magic book' that gives money to those in need like in an episode of the old "Twilight Zone".

My mother found over $100 in a book at a thrift store once. She kept the money and did not buy the book. Once her ex-boyfriend found $100 in a phone booth. I'm not as lucky though. I was rummaging through the purses in a thrift store many years ago and put my hand into the change pocket and came up with a hand full of baby teeth! YUCK! I'll never do that again.
