I just got a reply to email from bidville re bulk listing. They will have a bulklister available soon (whatever that means) BUT will be AuctionTamer compatible by this weekend.

So far I am very pleased with Bidville. Not a lot of action on my stuff but starting out just like I did on Ebay 4 years ago. I will give it the same fair chance I gave Ebay. Easier to get your auction set up, at least for me so that's a plus. And the response to my emails has been great! NOT CANNED

I have been quite pleased with Bidville overall with CS, site improvements and my sales have been building, not great but building each week. I've been there for about 3 weeks with 200+ listings and made about 10 sales - and they ALL paid!!!
Must admit though that I also get carried away while looking at items in other categories and love to bid and win (and all the time I thought my fingers never left my hand?)
I list on other auctions, including a few items on Yahoo just to keep in touch with my regular customers and tell them where I am as they buy again.

I am quite pleased with my results on Bidville so far. I have been listing there for about 6 weeks. So far I have had 42 auctions close with winning bidders, and have 34 with bids on them right now. No deadbeats! I am listing "clearance" items right now, so the prices are a bargin. A few of my current auctions have more than one bid. The downside still seems to be their "growing pains". Many times I have wanted to list, but the site was running so slow that I just gave up. I think the free counters offered are still having problems. How can you have 4 bids with only a 1 on your counter? Think I'll hang in there for awhile and see what happens.

I like just about everything, except for the lack of bidders. Not only am I not getting any bids, but my items are hardly even getting any hits. I featured one of my items on their homepage, but it only got 5 hits! It would have easily gotten 100+ hits on ebay without even being featured.

Escandyo and others in this site, I'm in serious need of your advice. You all seem like power sellers and I have a real dilemma. I'm an owner with some others of a new auction and we get no traffic. No money left for ads, have only rec'd local publicity. Its a brand new concept, based on the facts that (a) there are 300 million Hispanics in the U.S., (b) more than half are more comfortable conducting business transactions in their own language, and (c) almost 45% use the internet... this doesn't even bring into play the geographic closeness of Mexico and Latin America. So we created a simultaneous English-Spanish language auction, thought we would link you English-speaking sellers and buyers up to an untapped market. We can add new languages in 90 days, so, in other words, you could list in English, but a Spanish user (or, say, German speaking user) could see what you're selling because the site translates your listings instantly for you. I realize the site needs some work in other areas, but its really quite good. So how do I get the word out? Would love your advice! Thanks so much for your time, Lorna T
(P.S. You may see my message in other forums as I realllly need the input!)

At first I thought it was great, a lot of hits and some sales.
Recently have had few hits and no sales.
Two items featured that I didn't request.
No response to two messages about this.
Have they hired some rxhooyahs?
That's shoe biz. Hope they get ironed out soon.

I started moving auctions from Yahoo to Bidville today because several sellers I know have reported sales, and because AuctionTamer (the beta) is supporting Bidville now and so it makes it simple to track. Real simple actually, and with multiple id's to boot!
I feel confident that the buyer will show when they cease to find what they used to buy on Yahoo.
Fact is, there is strong demand for lower priced AND oddball items and so the buyer will come looking for them, and there they will be.
This seems a certainty to me. VeryModern Space Junk

I ran a test auction with a paperback that there were quite a few of on ebay and it wasn't worth the .30 cents to post...woke up this morning to a closed auction! I'll definitely post some more of this sort of item and see how it goes.
