Maui!! YES YES YES!!! I have almost all of Anne Rice's books... well not so much the recent ones (they got kinda stinky - what do you think?) but all the Mayfair Witch and Vampire chronicles!! AND they are all in my bookcase with gargoyle bookends I collect gargoyles. And I have a gargoyle table fountain... which my cats drink out of and will no longer drink out of their bowls. Anyway, what did you think of "Interview With The Vampire" - the movie? I loved the book so much, I thought I would hate the movie but I actually loved it. It's in my movie/video collection now along with Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula and Phantom of the Opera... and let's not forget Harold and Maude!!! What are your fav weird books and movies? Hey Maui thanks for starting this weird thread

5 out of 116 = 95.7% weirdness pure = dangerously normal.
But, yet, I have read Anne Rice books and loved the movie "Interview with a Vampire".
I have read most of Stephen King's books.
And, the "Dracula" movie with Gary Oldham is one of my all-time favorite movies and have seen it umpteen times.
I have to tell you, I am ticked that I apparently died at some point in my life and no one bothered to tell me. Had I known, I wouldn't have bothered getting up and applying make-up all these years.
There was one question that could have made all the difference, had I known how to answer it...
Would sex in a church parking lot be the same as sex in a graveyard? LOLOLOL!!

Oh darn, I thought I was weirder! I tied for second highest weirdo with zippy at 48 yeses(sp?). It was the SCA and other fantasy questions that caught me Cool! that means I'm highly 'out there'.
(There shoulda been a question in there about an affinity for silly smilely faces...)

I scored "Other Worldly---Welcome to Earth."
I loved the question "Have you ever eaten off a collectible place?"
Of course I have!!!
We only own three plates so if a fourth comes around we have to take the Fat Elvis off the wall to give him/her dinner.
I'm NOT joking.

Kim- doesn't every online auction enthusiast have to answer "yes" to that question? I just assumed that was a given. But I've never actually taken one off the wall to eat off of...I'd say you could score an extra "weird" point for that one!

femme I think sex in a church parking lot might count if you could at least "see" a graveyard from the parking lot... I'm sure there's more to that story.
NYCRocker Sorry, but you've gotta take off a point. Sex is sex. Not even close to taking pictures or drawing... LOL Don't worry, you're still wierd enough for this place.

nycrocker asks for opinions on Anne Rice books. Here's one
The Witching Hour is by far the best, the subsequent Mayfair series not up to the promise but still enjoyable.
Her vampires were great but have gone far down hill, the one featuring Satan particularly stunk, Vittorio was so pointless I haven't yet bothered to read Merrick. There's still potential for another winner in them but maybe she's gone lazy.
On the weirdness quiz - too much emphasis on the most ordinary, mundane, boring weirdnesses such as trekkiness.
