When I read her email it sounded stern so I refunded. But now as I sit here I should of had her taken a photo and send it to me. I didn't want to waste money on postage and it wasn't a lot. She won't buy anything from me again.

Thanks OML

Lucy...I noticed the thread about the Paypal chain letter scam also disappeared, at least from this forum. I'm wondering if Vendio knows that he also posted it in the Yahoo, Amazon, Paypal and the Other Auction Sites forums also? It's still up over there.

I'm glad Vendio is watching. When the moderators were let go the boards changed. I'm not sure if for better or for worse.

You know, I have a question, or maybe it's just an observation.

When somebody get's tossed from eBay they show as NARU. How do we know someone has been kicked off of Vendio?

Okay, I've been out this evening. WHO are you talking about, going poof? Who? Who?! Give me a hint.

Oh my,,,,,,they just go poof,,,,then sign in as a NEW person and continue on,,,,But,they are usually MORE careful....maybe? you can ONLY be all you can be so many times? I dunno. I have my doubts anyone honors any 30 day suspension on a chat Board? ,,,,they just get a new name......

After reading those awful posts that are now "poofed" I wrote a reply about visiting the Round Table one time and running away as fast as I could. I then though better about drawing the attention of that "person" and did not post. What is the cyber equivalent of biting your tongue? If I had posted my reply would be as cryptic as Bizzy's.

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, it is do exactly what Lib did so admirably--ignore the post-or rather, the poster.

Cheryl and Roadsmith: It was maggiemuggins. She had written some very vile stuff about Libra. I applaud you, too, Libra. It took great restraint not to let her have it back. But then I do understand that you didn't wish to stoop to her level.

Now, back to topic ... I agree with the poster that said it was made from marble dust and that if it was broken, it would have been impossible to fix without really noticing it.

"Ignore" is good. I may not like what some posters say from time to time, but I'd never go hollering to Vendio about it. That's just me. The ignore button serves its purpose.

BTW, you did handle this situation with the statue better than I would have. If she did cheat you, I hope she loses many a night's sleep over it. I doubt that will happen because this type has no moral conscience.

I would have asked the customer to forward photos of the damages or to send the item back since she was implying the item was "misrepresented". Insurance would not have paid, as the item was not damaged in transit.

Just looking at the photo a couple things occur to me.
First, if the necks on the horses are broken, how is it that the punificent gladiator head is not?
But, the chipped ear on the horse does seem to indicate a fall. But maybe only a knock?
Odd.
I guess I would refund, but I would take many close up pix in the future. It's cheap and easy with digital cameras these days.
I don't know who that poster was, but it was pretty angry and sad to read.
Now we know who the moderators are: Booty Kickin' Folk!
