I guess I'm confused. I understand your reluctance in the beginning because of the way the buyer came off, but now that the transaction is complete and everyone is happy, why not leave the appropriate feedback?

Because the guy is a nut job and a control freak. The minute I leave him feedback, he's going to send me a neg just because he doesn't like my policies.
Yeah, it's paranoid. but I think in this case it's justifiable paranoia.
Have you ever gotten a neutral feedback that said "everything was fine, but they don't leave positives unless something really special happened"? I have. There are some real jerks out there who like to play games. I'm not giving this guy any more ammunition.

All of my ITEM HAS SHIPPED emails have this blurb & a FEEDBACK LINK:
"Auctions should be fun! If you have any questions about your purchase after it arrives, PLEASE contact me! I check my feedback profile at least once/day and reciprocate immediately. I'm very grateful for all the kind comments over the past 4 years!"
About 2/100 will yak-yak for fb & Ralphie sends them this:
"Dear Pretzel-Choker:
THANKS for your email. I am always delighted to reciprocate with feedback!
Again, THANK YOU for winning one of our auctions!
Sincerely,
Ralph J. Dog"
IF THEY PERSIST & BECOME A NAGGING PITA:

WOW!! This guy is a real jerk! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. HE was trying to trick you into leaving feedback first so that he wouldn't receive a return negative. Sorry that you got a very undeserved neg.

I could never understand about a buyer worrying about feedback.A seller is going to sell to a buyer no matter what his feedback is, unless he has negatives to be concerned about. Its only important to a seller and that he doesnt have alot of negs as then nobody will buy from him.
