Aren't you shocked???
They say on the front page of their sight that they "pay you to host your images on ebay and other sights". Even given the details and fine print, they still owe me about $16.00. Do you think they have paid???Of course not and after the run around routine, when I asked about it on the chat board, I was promptly suspended for "disruption of the chat boards".
DO NOT USE THEIR HOSTING SERVICES and expect to be paid!!!! Plus when they get mad at you for who knows what koolaide reason, you lose access to your pictures!!! They can go in and put in any phtot they want to in its place. I have seen them do this and laugh about it on the boards. Pure EVIL!!

Folks, you can complain all you like on these boards. I understand the need to get rid of the frustrations that are obviously being felt. A better idea, would be to take action that would be positive to and for each of your needs. Be Proactive instead of Reactive. Here is some info for you.

The District Attorney's Office would handle all complaints of fraud, theft, etc.
You could also contact the Sunland/Tujunga Chamber of Commerce. Perhaps they could give you a starting point.

I don't know you, but I think it would be better if you approached this with a cool head, and not emotionally. You are just getting yourself all worked up, and will accomplish nothing.

BB lies??? No kidding???? I wouldnt lose any sleep over 16.00....I went in and checked my personal information this morning
on Bidbay and someone had changed my email, the language I speak,,, And to think they ask about credit cards there scares me
I did contact them after I changed it back, but no one has gotten back to me as of yet.

It isn't the $16.00 as much as the principle of it.....you know? One thing that doesn't make any sense is, as bad as they need bidders, I had spent about $150.00 there in just a few weeks. Go figure.

People are still waiting for their prizes won in October of last year! Check out that tech board! It is full of unresolved issues of features that do not work. They need to clean up their own back yard before they go off trying to be owners of other sights. Did you notice just one person reported seeing the "commercial" last weekend and who that person was? Are we surprised??? Bet the check is in the mail, huh?

is it just me or what???? Bidbay now wants to drive a PT Cruiser across the nation advertising for people to bid on it. Wouldn't that mean it would be darn near wore out by the time someone bought it?????????

It finally occurred to someone over there, a woman, that it would be used up by the time the drive was done. The ceo had not "thought of that". It was also a woman who brought to his attention the need for insurance. Kinda scarey that this man worked for the IRS!!!!

CEO is asking for people to be "drivers". These annonymous users are saying "yes, I'll drive in Alabama" and the CEO is like "You got it!"
Their planning is unbelievable. People have suggested that they pull the PT on a trailer so it doesn't get worn, CEO says "You're onto something".
I feel as if I'm watching an old black and white silent movie. This is absolutely halarious.

yes auctiongaurd, it is like GT gets some hair brained idea and before his brain goes into gear, his fingers start typing! "What do you think about this?" It actually reminds me more of the Wag The Dog Movie. New contests and anything else to take attention away from the real issues. Can you imagine how hard it would be to work for him?? I volunteered but notice how everyone else got the "ya got it" *wink* except me? I really don't want the responsibility and if someone wants to sit outside a shopping center or casino all day and hand out fliers, etc. - Get a life! I work all day! (well not today).

Dadnmom I didn't know you got suspended over there. I am concerned about the safety of our friend who is supposed to be meeting with them. I wish he hadn't gone. That person employed by them put too many "winks" on her post, if you saw it you know what I mean.
If the truth were known, there probably ISN'T even a PT Cruiser. Now what kind of nut would drive anything "all over the nation and Canada" just to hand out flyers and balls? Never heard of bulk rate mail I 'spose!

I don't know what posts you mean with the winks......doesn't matter to me either. I don't check over there very often. I had my go at it, didn't work out, and I haven't been back. I started to get caught up in the beginning (when I joined), but it didn't take me long to figure it out..........I made the ultimate mistake of asking questions on their threads.......they were zapped, and I haven't been back.
End of story.
I don't know why you are worried. Are you personal friends?
The person that accepted their invitation to go and visit, did so on their own accord. I think if someone were that concerned for their safety, well, they just wouldn't have gone. I wouldn't have a problem going into their offices. What do you think they will do? Whack someone right there in the office? I think not!
I do not care for them as a business enterprise (I like a business that I deal with to be ethical, something they lack), but I think all anyone would see there, probably a coffee room, large main frames to carry all the web info, if it is in that building, if they own their own. Otherwise they are carried by another company (for lack of their own funds to own - then they would just have the access codes to change things that need doing - making new smiley faces, deleting posts etc.).
I would imagine a lot of great talk, about what the future will hold, plans will be pulled out, and all the hype will begin through conversation. Slow and steady. People in bb t-shirts to impress. Lunch out somewhere. Probably a lot (if not all) people working for stock options and not salary. There really is not much to see in an office is there? A building.....it's the people that make a business, and that slow and steady conversation.
If you dislike something enough and you complain, why take their money to go talk with them? What is there to talk about. The place is what it is........Although it's an awesome Totally Sweet way to catch some extra cash.
In my opinion that was a good move! For Five Thousand Dollars I would go and visit, and consult with them. But that would not happen, as I would ask the hard legal questions, that got all my posts zapped before.
I live in California (as does bb) don't worry, we have great law enforcement that would respond to a call.

I use the same ID (only without the 1), I don't make believe I don't post here, I don't create havoc here, I don't bash them here - I state the truth without malice. I would say the same things here as I would say there, as I would say to them in person or on the phone, so why suspend me for posting here?
I don't kiss up to anyone there. I tell it like it is. The PTB know how I feel about the site, as I've told them on the telephone. As a matter of fact Nathan called me today out of the blue to ask why I was so adament about him not locking a particular thread. I told him why and told him to unlock it and post the darn information for us to see. He did so as we spoke. There's no reason for me to hide.
I'm not a favorite person, I've given up listing there, I contribute no numbers to the site, I hardly bid there and I gave my world shop away for free. I just go there to read the chats, tell it like it is and leave.
If that would be cause to have me suspended, then they'd do it. I don't know what happened to you, nor would I ever ask. I thought you left by your own accord from what you have written to me in the past.
It's a shame that if people go there, they aren't accepted here. Sorry if my presence here confuses you. I've been on this site far longer than I've been there and will come

I've been kicked off there once before for agreeing with the other poster on this thread in the past.
I really don't agree with the way things are run there, but I let them know too.
I hope AG2 is doing okay. I doubt they'll
"whack" him LOL! But the brain is a funny thing - you know? It can take in a lot of info and sometimes that info can be manipulated.

You have to admit that at least bidbay is making the changes users are requesting. I mean like tonight. Several Power sellers moved to bidbay. The knee jerk reaction was "look they have a link to ebay kill, it kill it". But after consideration, George decided to allow it to let it stay providing a cross link from a Power seller to bidbay.
And then everyone wanted contests stopped or severely overhauled. They are down as of today. Don't know if they will replace them or not, but at least we know they listen and make changes.
Bidbay is not driven by "gouge the people for more money", they are driven by please the people and get more loyalty. Something new comers are learning and loyalists already know. Sometimes slow to come, bidbay is changing!
