Teresa,

Those power sellers may have moved, but do you think they'll stay if they get no bids?

How do you think they became power sellers?

BidBay is not the only site where the owners listen to the users. They aren't unique in this.

The contests were a sham and just there to boost the numbers. They were ridiculous. I've never seen so many deadbeats in one spot as I've seen reported there, buyers and sellers included. Everyone listing for a chance to win the gold ring - but when it came time to ship it was a no-go - people bidding on auctions but refusing to pay.

Nothing wrong with loyalty, but it doesn't pay the bills. Perhaps if more of us were wealthy, it wouldn't matter. I have to work for a living and I'm not ashamed to admit I do need the money to live on.

People were loyal to Golds and look what happened, they scrambled to find a new site when poor Golds had to shut their doors in the middle of the night. It's never wise to put all your eggs in one basket, for if they break, you have nothing.

It appears that since floridaborn could not get her own thread up and running, she hitched a ride on the ones started by others. It amazes me how they alternate cheerleaders. When one or two gets zapped here or slapped, then they crawl off, change shifts and send the next one. I wouldn't worry about GT allowing a link to ebay. You really think Ebay will allow it given their history with Bidbay and GT? Now that I think of it, I don't know of any agency that has a good raport with Bidbay and their CEO. AND if they pay their bills like they send out image hosting money and prize money as well as prizes, well surely you can gifure that one out without my help. If not, email me.

Help me I'm locked in a closet at the BidBay offices!

I found a laptop, some crackers and half a bottle of corona.

They have had me in here for the last couple of days and am beginning to hallucinate.

JUST KIDDING!!!!!

I hope AW doesn't suspend me for posting from the BidBay offices I just wanted to make sure people weren't thinking I was dead...LOL

With that in mind I was actually supposed to leave yesterday but due to extremely productive meetings I was asked to stay another day.

That is all I will say for now I will be leaving town this evening for the 3 day trip on the train.

Have a great day!

AG2,

You know very well that you and I don't exactly see "eye-to-eye" on many things. I will admit, however, that I am happy to hear that your trip has been both productive and a fairly pleasant one. I would like to thank you (did I say that?) for going to Bidbay and expressing your concerns in a positive, productive manner.

floridaborn

The contests over there are so illegal....I am surprised they have not been stopped sooner. They are still responsible for the illegal contests that so far have been held.

Not even your guru can change the laws of the United States.

[[[[ floridaborn]]]] Bidbay is not driven by "gouge the people for more money", they are driven by please the people and get more loyalty. Something new comers are learning and loyalists already know. Sometimes slow to come, bidbay is changing! ]]]]

floridaborn, you need to really step back, and take a look at what you are saying.

I find your choice of the word 'loyalist' interesting, and so very predictable.

I was going to question the use of the word loyalist as well.

It means:

One who maintains loyalty to an established government, political party, or sovereign, especially during war or revolutionary change.

Or to put it simply:
a person who is loyal to their allegiance (especially in times of revolt)

I don't consider BidBay or the PTB an established government, political party or sovereignty and this is certainly not a time of revolt.

But, I think Floridaborn meant to say loyal members.

Hello....how are you today?

I find it interesting, but not in the least bit surprising that AG2 stayed the second day.......Like I said yesterday.....Slow and Steady. This was a no brainer, and So very predictable.

I'm betting he drank the kool-aide, because you don't change your moral views after a couple of days of meetings. Did these meetings change the criminal pasts of employees?

Hi mtnmama.....

LOL for $5000.00 I would have a productive meeting also!

We all knew that would change anyway......and more than one of us
called that one a few days ago......

Very sad.....

My, my, my...dissention in the ranks already? AG2 has not posted anything except that the meetings were productive. Now I see his "friends" calling him a turncoat and a traitor without even waiting to hear what the man has to say upon his return? That combined with the fact that you all know he will not be on the boards to even defend himself for 3 days? Some friends....

Make no mistake about it. AG2 and I are not friends, drinking buddies, or even anything close. I gave him plenty of grief about preaching to the wind and not picking up the gauntlet thrown down by GT. When he did pick up that gauntlet and gave his first report I was the first to commend him for answering the challenge levied at him. He does deserve that much respect. Therefore he got it from me...what a pity his "friends" see things so differently.

Talon, I made my opinions clear from the begining and that was that if he truely felt this this was a no good company then why would he involve himself as an employee?

AG2 speeks the truth on these boards and although I don't understand why he went to work for them, I do hope that he was just as blunt in person.

Your comment "My, my, my...dissention in the ranks already?" makes no sence whatsoever. Are there ranks? Are we an army? No, we are merely a group of people that have been discussing an interesting topic, pathetic, yet interesting.

I may be mistaken here AG....it was my understanding that AG2 went to BidBay to express his opinions concerning the site. The money offered was to compensate him for his time, trouble, and opinion.

Now, a one time compensation does not make him an employee...and for that matter, where better to voice a complaint that the source of it? Seems to me that would accomplish more than preaching to the wind about it here.

As far as my "dissention in the ranks" comment...it makes perfect sense. It is simply a generic term to describe strife within a group of people. The people that have posted with the insinuation that AG2 is a turncoat are the exact same people that cheer for him when he is preaching..(i.e. the group) I have to admit though, had he posted negative comments instead of positive ones...what would you all be saying then????

Pehaps "employee" was a bad term. Would "independent contractor" be a better one for you?

"independent contractor"

That would be advertising executive. All seems to fit. The tactics, the hype, the allegations. Bidbay tactics for sure. Any exposure is better than none. Think about it.

He earned any money he gets.

Mike,

Friends? I hardly even know the guy. He writes to me and tries to explain himself. I disagreed with him on a lot of subjects. However, he can tell you, right from the time he accepted the 5 grand, that I said the same thing I'm saying here. I pull no punches, my friend. I tell it like it is, like it or not.

The e-mails we shared were personal e-mails, however, and I won't post them on any public boards, because not only is it against the law, but it's against my morals and principles.

I gotta say... Its a cheasy place.

I won a bid for some auction software listed by a company called MewSoft for $10. When I went to go pay I was told its $550.

I said, no its $10. It wasnt a reserve auction, in fact 2 other people same boat and SEPerate auctions even. So... I write BidBay and they say I won too.

Anyway, after going back and forth with this deadbeat seller I left negative feedback basically saying, we won, they wont sell, dont buy/bid with this company.

The seller turns around and leaves on my feedback That Everyone Wants To Pirate His Software And Resell It!!!!

I got pissed. Called Bidbay, asked them did I or did I not win? THey said I did, emailed me and the seller. Seller still wouldnt sell. Basically trying to extort me for $540. Nice yes?

So Bidbay removes the feedback from my account. I then go to look at Mewsofts seller account and they RENAMED THE ACCOUNT! And Mewsoft got a brand NEW account!

NOW THATS INTEGRITY!

THE GUY and I are friends, but we chat online, not emails. Regarding it being against the law to post emails.....HOGWASH!!!Once anything is put into cyberspace it becomes public.......but then I think you and I have had this conversation before. However I do keep private the emails of those persons I have respect for.
Moderator you may now lock this one up. Thank you.
