It is my experience that "shortly" to AW means - sometime in the future but we really have no idea when.
I absolutely hate when AW uses meaningless words to "get customers out of their hair". We are paying customers that make or break your business. Every one of your customers can survive without you. AW is a choice not a necessity.
What we - your customer - really wants to know is when, approximately when. Be honest tells us - say we have been working on the problem throughout the night, our engineers are tired and can no longer think. Tells us they have gone home to sleep and rethink the problem and it maybe be a few hours before someone returns with an idea because none of them have a clue how to fix it! Tell us it may be a few hours or a few days. But OUR business is depending on YOUR business to be operating and we NEED to know.
I hate to go and find an alternative and spend my time learning it, to find out AW is now working. BUT if you are talking days ( and it has been days before ) I will have no other choice. If you are talking an hour or two I can wait.
BUT PLEASE give me a length of time in numbers….some idea. A best guess would be a good start!

I agree "what is shortly". To me it means in a few minutes. While other may take it to mean in a few hours, while AW could mean a couple of days. When I said earlier to "throw us a bone," I was not refering to some generic responce like
"I apologize for the delay in posting. This issue should be fixed shortly. Thank you for your patience."
By the number of postings I think our patience is getting a bit short. I think all of us just want to run our business. Maybe you should take a hint from all of us sellers, and run YOUR business ... like we do. We showed up with our listings, but where were you, AW?

In my books "currently" means NOW.
So, any idea how long before we can launch?
Any idea how far behind launching will be? Last time it took hours for AW to "catch up". So if I schedule an auction for 7:00 pm will it launch at 7:00 pm or will it launch at 7:30, or perhaps even 8:00. Any educated guess would be helpful.
Thanks for the attempt at making us happy BUT it is still only words. We need a length of time even if it is a guess!

Hi everyone,
I just posted an announcement -- the problems regarding launching have now been fixed. Please resubmit your auctions for launch. We are currently monitoring the situation and will be posting another announcement later on this morning.

I am CURRENTLY having auctions launch.
I remeber as a child when my dad said 'in a little while' which meant an hour to three days. I guess some things never change and maybe that's why I am more patient with this. But hey, they've got it done now. As annoying as computer problems can be it's still a big plus. AW provides a VERY helpful service when running and I still find their efforts satisfactory when not running. Nobody died here and hopefully no computers got thrown through a wall. Let's see some more thanks for AW.
THANK YOU AW FOR YOUR EFFORTS AND YOUR SERVICE.
