Me Too! I get: A processing error occured while previewing your listing on eBay.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Internal Processing Failure. The data returned from the auction site (site ID = ona808219) was unexpected.

This is a new auction I am trying to post, NOT a relist. Please help AW.

Hello,

This may be on eBays end. We are looking into the issue, and will post when we know anything new.

If you view eBays announcements board, they did just have an outage a little bit ago, but havent posted yet that it started up again : http://www2.ebay.com/aw/announce.shtml

Me too! I had about 13 set to launch and only a couple went through and the rest got errors. I no more than relaunch one with any error and another in line gets an error and then one I just relaunched gets another error. I feel like I'm stuck on a treadmill! I worked hard today to get those auctions ready. I give up. I'll have to try to get them to launch tomorrow or something. DARN! Is anyone still at AW to deal with this and tell us what happened?

Sorry, your post was not there when I clicked "post reply" but was there after I posted and clicked "return to thread"

It still doesn't answer my question though. According to ebay their site was down for about 15 minutes but I had those error messages for 50 minutes!

Hi Antelope67,

That is correct, there is still an error with submitting auctions to eBay from AuctionWatch. They may have just made a change to something without notice, and in doing so something broke on their end for a moment. They do appear to be back up and able to accept auctions without error now, engineering is working quickly to identify the problem and correct it.

As soon as we have an update for you, we will post it back to this or the most recent thread.

ebay said they are back but all auctions still in line waiting to be launched are still getting errors. I'll have to list them another day. Everything is happening at once around here. Have lots of auctions getting errors, lots of auctions ending, PayPals coming in, and telemarketers calling every 5 minutes (we get 20+ phone calls a day and I don't even know anyone). I think I'm done working for the day!

Christopher, I feel for you board guys/gals when these situations occur! You guys have to put out the fires!

One question though...the problem with ebay making changes and not notifying AW of those impending changes... this has happened many times before.

Does ebay have a weak link in their 'program-change' information notification department? It would seem to be in THEIR best interest to make sure that any auction-management site is well aware of any changes (in advance) that would affect their ability to submit auctions to ebay.

baffles my common sense.

So when it is all said and done, can we re-launch w/o worries of double postings?
