Admitting to pilfering at the White House during her occasional visits, and no doubt not disclosing the full extent of her crimes, Reagan's daughter describes her theivery and asks for forgiveness.....

"I suggest that others who found themselves straying within those hallowed walls follow my lead: Come clean, confess, appeal to America's forgiving heart. And pray for a presidential pardon."

What a pitiful comparison with the actions of the" Crooked Clintons."

In an essay for The Washington Post, Patti Davis admitted to taking ``around, oh, 84'' matchbooks inscribed with the words ''The President's House,'' at least half a dozen notebooks, a man's black sock left in the Lincoln Bedroom, one bowling ball and a pillow with a needlepoint picture of an elephant.

First, Patti Davis was not the President nor First Lady.

Second, the "souvenirs" Davis took cannot compare.

Third, Patti Davis is not a Republican, therefore, her thievery is consistent.

Fourth, she is a radical "peace activist" with a background of drug use and emotional instability. She has tried to commit suicide for reasons that were "peace activist' based.

She has since flip-flopped her beliefs, but she is still not Republican.

Patti Davis is a burned out slug who has always and purposely benefited by her parent's fame. She is now trying to justify the thievery of the Clintons and put herself back in the limelight, by confessing to her paltry thefts of souvenirs.

When will we be rid of the typical liberal-democrat spin on the facts and the truth?

krs- I'm new around here.
When I entered this message center there are the words....
A place to kick back, relax, and have fun! Share a story, tell a joke, write a poem, make a friend...
Now this tread is not a poem, its not a joke because there is no punch line.
It is not much of a story
So that leaves us with making a friend...

Or you could start a thread about "button-pushing," Supra. That might work to help you get better acquainted with all the strangers here.

Sometimes it even gets retreaded.

Hi Supra if you're looking for fun join the party thread tonight, we're celebrating nettak's birthday, lots of jokes and good times on that thread. It's called "Who's Stays Up the Latest" I believe and has almost 1400 posts over the last week.

We don't all bite. Well, ok, some like to play at being vampires and bite on the neck LOL!

We're doing some "serious" partying. The party has lasted for over a week. We even have our own resident rock star, nycrocker, at the party.

James, I'd love if you would come and jam with nycrocker to celebrate nettak's B-day.

oh Ken, loosen that stuffed shirt just a little bit for one night!

besides I've seen the partying you get up to with plsmith

She was pretty clever in coercing gifts of designer clothing.

Tried to find the thread where you first used it, but I guess it fell in the recent axing of threads over six months. Thought maybe Mark had just pared down the Outlook.

Another bit of AW history lost.
