This was a dutch auction for 7 of them. The high bidder won all 7 of them for almost $128,000. The fun part comes when he trys to collect. The winning bidder has a feedback score of -1.

Glassgrl and LTRay are REALLY doing the watching & reporting (with help from other board members) - ebay should hire them! I really think it's making a difference - DOING AN EXCELLENT JOB!!

glassgrl ... you deserve that name lol ... where were the scambusters when i auctioned off "Dead Furby" (which brought about $50 during the height of their popularity) ... at least I mentioned in the descrip AND title that it was 'dead'.

Estate, you should be happy to know that you realy did not scam anyone. Your furby has been revived and is now a happy little beetlebug

I have reported 3 of them, and although the listings were removed, I am disappointed that eBay didn't NARU the sellers. This is blatant fraud, they might put the fact that it is only a box, or a picture in their listings, but they are banking on the fact that a lot of people don't read all of the description etc. Okay, they should do, but I did it myself last week, asked seller a question about Paypal payment, and they told me they didn't take Paypal, and sure enough, it was there in the listing. (How many times I have been upset that buyers didn't read my listings properly!)
I think that these fraudulent sellers have no morals or human compassion. How many people have thought they have purchased a gift for their kids for Christmas, only to find the bid on, (but hopefully not paid for) a box or a picture. eBay should NARU them, if they do it once, they will probably do it again.

The auctions from "daddylonglute" are nauseating and just plain blatant deception.

But I can't feel sorry for the person who won #7374940840.

It is listed in the photos section. Auction title says it is a picture. Sellers description is short and to the point.

Anyone one bidding on that auction deserves to get it for $400.

Makes me wish for a REPORT ME NOW button on the auction pages! Sellers like this should be NARU at the first violation. Ending their listing did nothing to stop the second one going up minutes later.
