These cards are great!

Neglus, even though the card showing the woman with berries coming out of her ears is ugly, Pixiamom wins the prize in my book with the family and cat...I wonder who on earth would send this card to their friends???

McJane, neither picture of the Santa is blurry on my monitor.

The ugly family are tomte - Scandinavian prankish trolls from the country that gave us the DAM Trolls (note the resemblance?)

Glassgirl - Yes it is a black Santa - I listed it as "VICTORIAN EMBOSSED CHRISTMAS POSTCARD BLACK SANTA 1912" (sold a couple of weeks ago) I don't know about politically correct.

I think all of the cards I have shown here have sold except the "Holly Lady" and "Kissing Santa"- I have about 300 Christmas images on Vendio of cards I have listed. I used some Santas as a Vendio logo and have it across some of my listings and on my store home page:

I also have reserved an image space on all of my listings for notices etc (I plan on using when I go on vacation etc). I am using it now for holiday greetings (two of my very favorite (and sold ) cards:

So what is causing it on my computer, never happened before. It's sooooo blurry all I know is that it's Santa because of the colors. I can't see any detail & it's just that one picture...all others are fine.

glassgrl will know

DO you use AOL McJane? I know AOL browser compresses graphics by default and you have to go into preferences and choose not to compress them.

Not a postcard, but the comic strip that ran on Christmas Day, in 1992 ... I liked it so much, that I clipped it from the newspaper, and I display it every Christmas ... it is getting yellowed with age (not unlike myself) lol

I'm a few days late....didn't think I had any Xmas postcards, but fiiinally found two to share with VD'ers for the holidays.

Got these ones before I had settled into a card topic I really wanted to collect - local rppc's. These are Raphael Tuck Oilettes, both mailed in 1910.

Thanks for the inspiration Tom
