Apparently, fluffy does not want to play with us anymore. She has picked up her words and gone home.

When she returns, she returns. Until then, there is not much we can do.

Let's just move on.

You people want someone so childish as to go around and edit out their posts to come back?

I say don't let the door hit ya on the way out.

I was suspended erroneously from eBay on December 30 and again on January 3. I lost weeks of income due to eBay's blunders. Their idea of compensation was to reluctantly offer me a $25 credit, making it clear that this largesse was not to be considered a binding precedent of any kind.

Therefore, I have a lot of hard work to do in order to revive my income stream. It's ridiculous but also unprofitable to bandy words with a handful of middle-aged third graders. Someone else will have to take them out behind the woodshed and administer the peach switch. Just keep in mind that done properly, it hurts them a lot more than it hurts you.

As a writer, I did indeed "pick up my words and go home". Well put.

I can be reached at [email protected]. There have been many times when I wanted to send a private comment to a Vendio poster but found that their email is private. I wish more people would have email enabled.

Fluff, sorry to hear eaby is being such a PITA.

It never ceases to amaze me the way eBay selective polices comments on this board. Makes you feel like you are being monitored by the CIA or something.

Example, that "jarts" auction did not last for more than 6 hours.

Now get this, ebay lets power sellers list these darn things in 7 day auctions and they NEVER get pulled, even when reported.

(Stop reading here MS Lucy)

Some days it seems like it is not what you know, but who you blow at Eby that keeps your auctions listed!
. When your ship comes in.... make sure you are willing to unload it. .

Okay, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, Fluffy. But, from your post you sound like the "middle age third grader". We've all had jokes aimed at us when we've erred and have taken them with a chuckle. Maybe to thicken up you need to post on the RT. As far as I could tell there was no one wanting to "bandy" words with you.

You've gotten your claws in me, too, but I didn't go running.

Edited to add: I, too, am sorry you've had so many problems with your auctions and eBay. Just thought I'd add that in to show you that no matter how many negative comments you may have thrown my way over time, I don't hold a grudge.

Fluff, I am sorry to hear about ebutt and what they have put you through. Do we have any recourse? No. They are way too big for us to have any effect on them. If a seller complains about unfair treatment by them or even to suggests some obvious changes to their programming to make things better for all of us, do they care? No ! It goes on deaf ears. We usually get a canned computerized reply and that's it.

Someday there will be someone big enough and strong enough to compete with them. But for now, this is it.

I'm not a wuss, not a wimp, not looking for a strong cult leader. I do have the good common sense to weigh the totality of expertise (not on a single item) and hope that this forum can accept and tolerate opposing viewpoints without ridicule.

Ditto Pixiamom.

hwahwa, I'm trying to remember if there has been a posting of yours that has taught me something or made me chuckle. I honestly can't remember one. It's not your job to enlighten me or amuse me, but it doesn't make me a wuss or looking for a strong cult figure when I miss someone who has frequently taught me something or amused me.

My life is relatively full and happy; I don't need a leader, cult or otherwise. Fluff might not always bat 1000, but she sometimes hits the ball out of the park, and her posts are ALWAYS worth reading and I never skip over one (something I can only say about a handful of people on this forum) -- I might disagree with her, but she doesn't post without displaying evidence of a mind at work.

Why does it bother you that someone can be missed?

Claude

well,I am glad we have 2 who speak their mind, they are not wuss or wimps and not looking for cult figure.
I am not here to entertain or enlighten anyone either, sorry if anyone is looking for such.
I am not anyone's private tutor and I dont recall committing myself to such role.

hwahwa,

I never said that you did sign up for the role.

BTW, I'm sorry for my tone this morning. I hadn't had enough coffee, and just wasn't in the mood to be called, indirectly, a wuss. I should just have let it roll off my back, figuring that you perhaps were also insufficiently caffeinated

well,I have problem falling asleep last nite, cant figure out why?
anyway,as long as we middle aged third graders can get out of bed and find our way to the keyboard,we should all pat ourselves on the shoulder and call it another day, another dollar!
